Default wing saddle fit

Is there something that you jet guys use to make the wing saddle fit the wing better? If so, what?

Default wing saddle fit

Gene,

For any type of fitting, be it hatches, or wing saddles, or wings to fuse etc... I use Evercoat polyester glazing putty. Fter putting the putty on and sanding it, I take some thin CA and dirzzle it over the putty then sand it again and it is bullet proof. What I would do in the case of the wing saddle would be to tape some Handy wrap in place on the wing and then apply a thick layer of the putty and then quickly bolt the wing in place squeezing out the excess. You have to be quick when you do this as the putty sets up in a couple of minutes. The other thing you can use is a mixture of epoxy and micro balloons, this would give you a little more working itme as well.
