RE: JetLegend T45
Did JL increase their estimated price for the Hawk?
Their site says (estimate)
Kit $640
ARF $880
My calculations make this (including 16% VAT)
Kit 621 Euros
ARF 854 Euros
That makes the ARF 176 Euros cheaper direct from JL (and the kit 150 Euros direct) than from Germany.

Hello Siclick 33
In your calculation you forget the 150,- USD air freight for each plane.

RE: JetLegend T45
That is true.
$150 US is about 123 Euros. Assuming I want to buy an ARF, it is still 53 Euros cheaper to buy direct. I assume that you would charge shipping on top?
If you buy in bulk then shipping should be less than $150 per plane. Why does it cost more?

And we must pay about 4,7% duty for each delivery.
No we must pay every time 150,- USD freight for each box, no different how much I order.
The next is you don't can buy direct in China, you live in UK and you have a UK dealer, I don't can send to UK.

Hello JLEurope.
Could you introduce yourself to us with a name and maybe a picture of yourself. If I were to become a JL customer, I would like to know who I'm dealing with. I would also like to know the names of the members of your JL team.

Simple question:
Since you have no stock, and your website is simply a copy of the Jetlegend home site, what exactly ARE you bringing to the table?
To me, one of the great things about JL is the dealing direct and eliminating the middleman. Why would anybody want to add a middleman who does not have a stock of parts and kits right there in the country?
Are you taking out and paying for magazine ads?
I don't mean any offense...by what exactly is the advantage of buying from you over the factory? Why would anybody pay extra?

Firstly there has been a big demand for JL kits and ARF's, the factory is working to fulfill orders from the recently established dealers so it is not surprising that dealers do not have stock at the moment. I have ordered an F15 ARF through the UK dealer at a price I am happy with. I do not have to get involved with wire transfers or other payment niggles, I pay the UK dealer in sterling. If I have a problem I don't need to deal with someone in China!
My UK dealer advises me that he intends to keep some stock / parts once the factory deals with back orders, he is awaitng a demo F15. This is a new venture and some patience is called for.
Let's give the dealers a chance to get up to speed, if you have looked at the JL website you will see there are some interesting new models in the pipeline, I wish JL and their dealers every success, as any source of additional airframes , especially at attractive prices is good for all of us.

Do you see a situation where the Tamjets line of models could be sold through the Uk / European Jetlegend dealers.
At the moment, if we wanted a Tamjets kit we would have to order it through you and it would have to travel from China to the US and then to Europe which is an expensive way of doing things!

I know you have read this post. Could you please answer my question or at least tell me why you wont answer my question?
There is some information on the German RC-Network forum regarding your company. What is your comment to that?
I know that one should not beleive everything that is written in the forums, but various threads, like [link=http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showthread.php?t=38842]THIS ONE[/link], state that there may be some issues with your business.
Please comment, so the rumours can end.

RE: JetLegend T45
I have it on good authority that it is not Mr Pollack who is the JL dealer for Germany.
BTW One of the best reasons for dealing with a local rep is that we may be able to provide some 'adjustment' on the prices of the products....

I'm going to back up and let Stig Anderson clarify...being that I don't speak German, I don't want to misinterpret further! I don't know nuffin'!
I'm not against dealers, at all, but they need to bring something to the table besides marking up the price. Most do!

Hi Swissflyer,
This thread was never intended to become another discussion about the two companies, just an information thread for those interested in the JL T45. It seems that some people have added posts about SM products which has slightly confused the issue; but I'm cool with that!

Hey Stig,
In all honesty I don't know who the JL dealer for Germany is - I have been told that it's not Mr Pollack!
I will be discussing some issues with the gentleman in question at some point so I will ask him to introduce himself.
Jeff
