Great pics so far!!looks like super weather too boot!!
How many Comp-Arf Lightning's are there flying??I'm just curious how they are doing cause a buddy here has a new one with 2 flights thus far on Titan power. He was pretty disapointed cause his is very marginal on the Titan. He is strongly considering dropping his P-200 in it but first wants to see what everyone else is using and what their expriences have been with the aircraft. He had to use full power on the downwind leg once he dropped the flaps otherwise his Lightning wanted to sink rapidly .He is gonna mess around with the flap settings and see if that helps out ,we havent been able to fly in 3 weeks here due to crappy weather! [:'(]
Now on to me,Are there any Skymaster F-18 F 's (twin seaters) flying there?Just curious as my buddy here is working on mine right now,he is
currently seeing firsthand what kinda stress 10 gear doors can put you thru!LOL.Sure is a big beautiful Hornet tho, mine will be powered by a new Merlin & will be painted in the Jolly Rogers scheme
Anyways thanks in advance & keep the great coverage rolling guys!!

I´ve seen the Lightning several times here in germany with P 160 or similar Power( FRANK TJ 70 with 180N): just perfect!!
They also say on their HP: >160N, or not?`
Perhaps the Titan has less then 140N?? It must be like that, otherwise the aircraft would fly perfect....
Regards,
Jair

Anthony
No unfortantly I cant make Florida Jets AGAIN this year! Errrr I had 4 days reserved for plans to head down there too! Then as usual it seems something got in the way of my plans to make FJ.This year was cursed by a move into a new house that has taken me much longer than expected then ultimately put me 3 weeks behind with my business and now I'm playing major catch up!Well atleast I got all moved in and settled so something good was accomplished atleast
You guys gonna come hang out with us at Mid Atlantic this year?I got 22 flights to date on my new Kingcat ,bout friggen time I finally start flying turbines huhIt has been a longgg road.I Just ordered a new Boomerang XL so I can work on my landings and not bang up my 11k Kingcat!I already had a extra Artes turbine & tons of servos laying around to use so it was a very minimal investment buying the XL.I'm gonna start flying the pi$$ out of the XL and meanwhile the Kingcat will be going in & getting a super glossy Blue Angels paintjob

Not to get off of the subject but I thought that the Titan was a de-rated 160 with the Titan only producing a max thrust around 32 lbs as compared to 36 lbs of the P-160....This was done for longevity if my info is right...
Keep the pics coming!!! Very good pics so far!!!!
