Default Test flew my BVM Composite Bobcat

Hi All,
I'd like to share some pictures of my P80 powered composite bobcat that I test flew yesterday. In my opinion this is the easiest flying jet one can buy, very stable and predictable.
Thanks
Asif Ali Akbar

Thanks,
I flew for about 5 minutes, after landing I checked the fuel, the UAT was full & so was the sulivan hopper tank, and the main kevlar tanks were 1/4 full, I think I can get 8-9 minutes for fuel. Most of the time I was at 1/2 throttle or less, cuz even at 1/2 throttle it had decent speed.

I have a P-70 on mine with the same tank setup. If you like to go fast I would limit your flights to 7 minutes at most!
I always like a 2 minutes of reserve and that may be pushing things. Ask me how I know.

No I like jets for sound and scale looks (if its a scale machine) not speed. I will set my timer for 7 minutes and will monitor fuel and see how low I am on fuel when I land.

Thanks for your input.

I have a P120 in mine, and when flying around full throttle for almost the whole flight i still get around 7.5 min flights with most of the kevlar hopper full ... on a p80 at 1/2 throttle, i would think you can push like 9 min ... i guess monitor your fuel levels as you fly to get a baseline .. they sure are great flying planes
