Default Flight in a Phantom

Several years ago I was involved in a project where an RC modeler most of you
know got to take a flight in a fighter jet. The last few years at several RC meets I
attended people that was not into RC back then have expressed an interest in
hearing this story. With this in mind I put together some web pages I hope you find
of interest, if so go to the URL below. I hope I'm not breaking any of the rules by
posting this, if so moderators should fell free to take it down.

I'd give 2 months Salary to be able to do that!

Jets are definitely the "Ultimate Hot Rod"

It is a jet, it is a modeller, it is a bit of a stretch but I will leave this one running.

Instead of letting us know what your thinking of closing, you should reply to your PM's from me and RCadmin

I'm in the process of arranging a ride in a Su-27 . Hopefully , I'll do it this summer . Could buy a real nice model jet for what it's going to cost but I'm sure it will be worth every penny

Merv,

Thank you for sharing that!! I must say that I am very impressed with you. You went through a lot of trouble to make someone else's dream come through. You are CLASS!!

It sure got my blood pumping just reading Tom's story and watching the video. What I wouldn't give to fly in one of those. The Phantom is a jet that holds a very special place in my heart. So much so that I have built one. This story makes me want to take it out and fly it right now. However, I will have to do something about all this SNOW. Here is a pic of my 'Rhino".

Merv,

Thanks for all the effort you went to 20 years ago to get Tom the ride and the effort you went to to put the story and video on the web. I'm in the process of getting a Tom Cook F4 together and this has just motivated me even more.

Well done!!!!
