Building one from an Avonds turbine kit..
The plan shows 105 mm behind the LE with empty tanks.
[ This looks far to far forward but I guess the long nose contributes. ]

I have built and flown the F-104 from Philip. The CG is right on the money. As J. Duncker said. The long nose contributes.
