Default My Happy Dance - Skymaster F22

Well I just placed my order with Eric at [link=http://www.airpacmodels.com/]AirPac Models[/link] tonight. Now I can hardly wait to get this beauty into my shop and flight ready.

I did a search and came up with a few post in regards to the F22. I wanted to know how many of you have done the gear mod that [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/fb.asp?m=3447150]Stig did on his F22[/link]. And what your take is on it? The thought of having to do it is driving me bonkers!

Eric thanks once again on going the extra mile and for all your help. Your customer service is appreciated.

I did the mod on mine and it was not bad at all, I did make full size templates of the gear plates and the main former. If you have any question just shoot me a pm or contact Stig.

Thanks “Nighthawk117” It’s good to know that it is not all that bad! Are you flying off grass or pavement? And what are you using for power?

Strictly going to fly off grass. Project is not complete yet, will use a Ram 750f for now.

Did to first flight of my Skymaster F22 last weekend the retracts are as skymaster instructions and had no problems with the rear retracts. The only problem is the front Tyre will not stay on

Ardisd,
Did you fly it off the grass or from the black top runway?
