Default ? for our friends in the UK about Santorin jet

Hi -

Just purchased the latest issue of RCJI (Dec 2002/Jan 2003) and on page 16-17 (Heswall Jet Meet) is a unique jet that I have not seen before and would like more information on it. Its called a Santorin and it kinda reminds me a little of a Russian Mig 1.44. The magazine states that a Steve Rickett is the owner/builder/flyer. So, first off; is it a new kit that is coming out? What are the dimensions of it and is there a website that can be linked to it?

Thankyou in advanced,

This jet was discussed here recently. I did an RCU search for Santorin, and found the following:

http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...light=santorin

Only a few of the posts on the thread cover the Santorin, but it may still have some info for you.

Hope that helps.

Default Thankyou one and all

Thanks everyone!

I'll look at the thread Gordon came up with and the website Davie provided. Just looking up info for right now Ron, but would like to hear more if you build this jet model.

I spoke with Peter Mayer yesterday, he has shipped a Santorin and a Strikemaster kit. I should receive them next week.
If anyone is interested in either of these, please contact me.

Peter Mayer of Jetworld.de is the German Manufacturer of the Santorin.

I am the UK distributor and currently fly a Santorin, so if you have any questions then feel free to direct them to me, (I am Peters English speaking rep!)

In the meantime I have attached some shots of the machine!

Cheers

Steve
