Default BAe hawk???

Would the BAe hawk a nice starter jet?

If so, where can I get a good kit? I wanted a f-18 but I think I should start smaler. I saw pjp jets.... but i don't thinks the small Hawk has the scale landing gear.....

Let me know what you know......

Al comments welcome, I want to know as much as possible!

THe Hawk is a very good aircraft - fast and aerobatic but not as forgiving as, for example, an F15. Manufacturers? Obviously I'm going to promote the JetLegend T45 (which is a superb) but the PJP is very good (same size) and the Skymaster Hawk is also a very nice flying model. The PJP may have scale retracts as an option - I'm not sure. The JL T45 and the Skymaster certaily do. Jetlegend do a kit version too.

Have fun!

We can supply scale castings for the 1/6 Hawk but small 1/8 Hawk uses Eurokit legs although a little heavy.

Hi Marco,

It is a JETLEGEND T45.

You can order from www.jetlegend.de or perhaps direct from www.jetlegend.com

The price will be somewhere around US$1030 including tailpipe, fuel tanks and delivery.

Retracts/oleos/wheels/brakes should cost around US$520

It is 63 inch span and suits engines between 12 and 20 pounds thrust.

Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

Cheers

Jeff

Just to let you know PJP Jets took over manufacture of Ice Mouldings Hawk 3 years ago and can supply in HAWK 100 format.
