Exciting news about F35.
Is Tornado still in list? I spoke to you at jetpower and think you said 2018 release?

the Tornado with the twin turbines and wing machine will over 25kg , this will make it not sell to Germany that they limited 25 kg, this is big problem for this project, any suggest?

Tony Nijhuis (Tony Nijhuis Designs) is experimenting with a Harrier:

https://youtu.be/cQ39zKKf4H0

It was some info about this in RCM&E March 2017 issue, Jump Jet part 1, Harrier.
It will continue in next issue with part 2 (batteries, receivers, transition, design prepartions ahead of first prototype).
It will be 5 monthly articles.
There is a 4 page thread here:

Maybe If the Tornado is designed similar size to the F14 about 2550mm length, will it be about same weight 20-25kg?
it would be a shame not to do Tornado, it's a awesome plane and would make a awesome model!

Looking good, can't wait to see it, will it be available to have without VTOL as option or is it only fly with VTOL?

Would be nice as option for people that want a AV8B to keep simple. Very much looking forward to see flying!

Also, any plans to make the simple version able to be retrofitted with the VTOL turboFan system down the line? Or once you choose simple, you're stuck with that?

Very happy to see a jet manufacturer not playing it safe, instead pushing the envelope in a big way!
