I reset the ecu to its base menu by holding down the menu button for about 2 minutes,
all three lights were flashing together.

I found out afterwards it deleted many of the menus that were accessable and adjustable.

peristalic pump menu... cool down menu...etc.

I wrote them down before I did this rather stupid thing:

press Manual and swithch on
press ign>lim>lim>menu
display shows Masterkey
press Manual

now i'll have to shoot you!

Thanks for the help Mick, sorry no change or original or addition menus appeared.

jettronics v.2.0 may not have had a way to recover the original programs.

I think Ive collected enougn info and settings to try running it again.

to bad DR Hoya did not just toss an electric starter on the front...
these engines were years ahead of jetcat at the time.

I will try this also, Thanks in advance....

I have never ever seen the "Boss" menu ,
so this will be a new and good development if I can get there.

There is very little info out there on these engines.
Lets help get the rest of those door stops up and running....

Already emailed jet-tronics..de,
waiting reply,
no answer yet....out flying.

No rush, its fun to tinker and collect info,
only some of this info was out on RCU before.
The more info, the fewer door stops there will be.

Success.... all the menus are back,

hold manual button on gsu down while turning on reciever,
press
ingition
limit
limit
menu
run

do the sequence twice to get all the menus back

basic menu ....returned along with oil pumps, cool down,etc..etc...

Now I just need a verified know good set of ecu settings to run the engine with.

anybody with a know good running set .

Instead of going back and re-typing everything, I will just put my parameters highlighted in red that differ from your settings beside the ones you have already given. Mind you, these are the original settings as it came delivered to me from the dealer (Planes Plus) 7 years ago. The engine has never been run by me( 13 minutes factory time only) and none of the settings have been changed that I'm aware of. The parameters given are for comparison purpose only.

When you power up by just switching on the receiver, make sure the display shows 21/22 Celsius. This is about normal room temp. If not, you will need to re-calibrate.
