SATURDAY AT MOUNTAIN THUNDER JET RALLY
Today was a much better day. Great weather, and better friendship.
Temps were in the eightys with light breezes, and plenty of jet-a was burned.
Wish you were here.

RE: SATURDAY AT MOUNTAIN THUNER JET RALLY
More again.......
We were able to enlist the aid of the Montana Civil Air Patrol to assist us with the parking chores.
They appreciate the air show, and they benefit from our club's financial contribution to the local CAP chapter as payment for their services. One hand washes the other.

Man, I envy you. Not just for all the great jets, but all those tall green things sticking out of the ground at the far end of the field. We don't get too many of those here in the desert.

RE: SATURDAY AT MOUNTAIN THUNDER JET RALLY
Well, we made it through two days of beautiful northwestern Montana scenery. It's a tough job, but we've chosen to do it.
Flanker.....
Next year, just go east on 58 to 15, hang a left and keep going until you hit 90 just 5 miles west of Butte. Go west on 90 to 93 in Missoula, and follow 93 north until you hit Kalispell. North on 93 through Kalispell, then right on Hodgson Rd. (one turnoff past the Conoco station). Go to the stop sign at Whitefish Stage Rd., turn left and go about a mile and turn right on the field access road. Stop and get out of the car when you a whistling sound and smell Jet-A burning.
Pretty easy to find, huh?
We will do this again next year, approximately at the same time. We are hoping to draw more flyers from other areas next year.
