Heart of Ohio just two weeks away-Who is coming
The TORKS organization is working hard to make this the best yet. Come early and stay late. Open flying starts Thursday. Make sure you get here for the big pizza party on Friday evening sponsored by AMT. Some of the proposed field changes have been made and more are in the process.
Here is a photo of the 2005 Jet Scramble taken from a Super Cub.
For those interested there will once again be a hosted shopping trip on Saturday to one of the largest outlet malls in the state .

Anyone leaving Columbus Saturday afternoon and heading north???
We're having our 2ND ANNUAL R/C SHOW AND FUN FLY all day on Sunday at the Willard Airport, 3744 State Rt. 103 on the south edge of Willard. Willard is located 25 miles north of Mansfield on State Rt. 224.
4000 x 65 ft. paved runway, lots of pilot prizes, nice raffle prizes (about $1,000 worth), food vendors, and camping on site Saturday night if you have an RV or tent. Also 3 motels and many restaurants within walking distance of the airport.
If you have a waiver, you're welcome to fly your jet here.

i see that you are renting tents this year, and wondered if your club was going to rent a large one so that we can have a place to store our models overnight since there is no longer a hanger. with todays larger, more complex models a lot of time is required to assemble and disassemble daily. it sure would help alot of guys out and make for more flying for your spectators.

TORKS is renting a 20 X 40 tent to be used by the PUBLIC during each day for food concession. AT NIGHT side curtains will be added and this tent will be available for aircraft storage. Additionally, we will have some room in our garage since the motorcycle sponsor is no longer with us. This space is first come first served and the aircraft will need to be removed early each morning so we can again use said tent for the PUBLIC that day. We will ALSO have tables in this tent for the public to use during the day and for aircraft at night.

A must go to event every year.If any of you pilots have not been to the Heart of Ohio jet fly held at the Torks club home field,you are missing great hospitality and a excellant flying facility for your jet.Hope to see all of you there in two weeks.

team wang and bandit boy #3 will attend. the question is wether or not that is 2 or 3 or 4 pilots. we are still so confused,and by the way there is now a tamjet in the mix. learning tamlish veeeery hard!!!!!!
