RE: Three weeks to Jetpower - Who's going??
For me Also it was the best event ever!
last year i was also there but just recovered from my hart attack in July.
this year was different more time to prepare , felt good about it and had lots off energy
i am coming now for the 4th year there , and every year its getting better and better.
nice people good sphere lots of people from rcu there it is nice to see the face’s behind the names.
i have spoken to a few there and next year we will maybe be joining stands with some of us to have a bunch of translators there on the stand.
Ali flew my flash this year so i could promote our gear witch luckily always came out as you know on shows some things never work.
we flew it also on the Wren slot on Sunday.
Ali wringed the flash out i think ,it did thing i thought where impossible , but i know one thing i know how to build a kit now.....
if it did not flame out on those snap rolls that ali did nothing else will cause one.
Sara’s cookies where fabulous and as suspected i gained another 3 kilo’s thru the event with the usual "Wein,Weiber, und gesang"
the Greeks off course joined us at the Brennkammer and soon there where trays full off beers everywhere.
these events are really good for spirit and the fun of our sport, it surely brings everyone’s best out there!.
At Sunday I got some extra boxes to sell and for a few hours I actually had a line up at our stand , I was running between ali,s stand buying models and parts.
And helping also a few of his customers with german/englisch (I may have offended a few ïŠ) ha ha.
Anyway see you all next year.

First. Please don't ''Tamglish'' my name
That would be Geir Flesche -Scandinavian C-ARF rep and Norway's no1 jet and giant scale pusher next to your baby.
I'm the one in the pic below prepairing to abuse the rental car[8D]

Anybody visited the ACT-Europe stand ? I'm curious to know if their twin freq's system was shown and propely promoted as nobody seems to speak of that setup.

Alessio first you should say too MANY people not too much, then if you have nothing to say because you don't care about this product then fine but pls spare yourself a useless post. I don't really care about the size of the ACT stand nor the number of people in front of it. If you have some intelligent and informed remark to say about it I would be delighted to hear about them.

Mr Matt;
The He162 comes from a firm called MPItec. There have been two articles about it in the JP magazine.
Here's some from a German forum: http://www.rc-network.de/forum/showthread.php?t=13364
Cannot get to their website. As said, it was on the Grumania stand, so ask them.

Baron-Noir,
Your post about ACT asked if it was properly promoted. Don't be dismissive of Alessio when he says the stand was too small, as that would provide some informed feed back about whether it was properly promoted!!!!
There was a manned ACT stand with large posters and what appeared to be some examples of the equipment, I did not get close as it was very busy. In terms of the others, it seemed that they were doing a good job of promoting themselves.
I hope that helps,
Gazzer

RE: Three weeks to Jetpower - Who's going??
Hallo again,
the Heinkel He 162 is produced by Peter Maissinger from MPiTec. You can get him by email: [email protected]
The ACT-Stand was really to small ( only three meters) for the crowd. I introduced that system in the 4/2006 issue of JetPower and will give more information in the next one.
Best regards
Winnie

RE: Three weeks to Jetpower - Who's going??
Thanks fpr the replies everyone. I was hoping this was a different Heinkel as the one in Jet Power sounded like a bit of a struggle. I don't know why this plane should be hard to fly, but I guess the full size was unforgiving?
Also SK as Winnie mentioned there is a brief but nice write up of the ACT duel frequency module in the new Jet Power magazine

Roland Raith Phantom on runway, Sunday morning. Phantomstaffel started the flying despite bad hazy conditions pushing visibility to the limit. Very effective 'flares' fired in flight.

To the lucky guys who were at JETPOWER:
Who is manufacturing this Me-262 as I believe that Werner Kranz is not selling any more kits.
Here is the photo taken from Jetsofnorway website (with thanks to them)

RE: Three weeks to Jetpower - Who's going??
For those that are interested we just uploaded 7 pages of jet power pics to our gallery. Go to www.alshobbies.com. Top right of the main page is the gallery section. Not so many of the flying shots, but more of the detail and indoor photos. Enjoy... If my web guy ever gets a spare few days he will caption the photos (as per other gallery) but I wont hold my breath
