Spiderman Jet Meet is BACK!!!
Spiderman is back this fall and the proceeds will all go to the Daughter of my good friend Robin Baker whom recently passed away at the age of 32 of a brain aneurysm. His daughter is 5yrs old and the Winamac Aeromodelers would like to help the family out by putting on a jet meet at the end of the year to help raise money for the family. Before Robin died he had just bought a house and a newer car so the money would be Greatly appreciated. So the only dates I thought that would be good for everybody would be the 19th thru the 22nd of October. This gives you all time to re coupe from Superman and find your jackets and sweatshirts and drive to Winamac In. before the snow flies. The weather could be 80 degrees or 45. For those that have been here they'll tell ya its worth it. Just bring clothes for all occasion's and we'll have a great time and help out a couple of friends in need. As always flying is from when you can until you can't . (Sunrise till sunset)

See you tomorrow before noon. I hope you can help me get my Rappy-60 setup and flying before I leave Winamac in the evening.
I will bring my electric Slow Stick (with bunch of LED's) with me tomorrow and we can fly it at nigh and do some T & G's (touch and goes)

Patrick, dont do it man, I had her this summer at jets over the heartland. It was kind of like.............Fish and Chips[:'(] Tim told me if I didnt he wouldnt let me fly

I spoke with Tim on Saturday and discussed the idea of making sure all in attendance received at least one good meal.......therefore I will be bringing my "Custom Made Grille" to the event on Saturday and putting on a chicken BBQ for all on Saturday nite. Anyone willing to help with the additional fixins' feel free to chime in.
A free will donation bucket will be set up at the food line, and all proceeds will be turned over to the club for Robins' family.
Let's make this a great event for a great cause!!!
