Yes you can.
I once ordered my F16 in Tiger colors, but notified that this particular version has a drag-chute housing that differs from the C-version.
So I helped Anton at Skymaster with that, and received the A+ version wich has this chute. Mine is a G1version, don't know if G2 incorporates this..

Hi Jack! Welcome to the club!! As you can see, I have the dummy chute housing on mine, didn't actually order it, but I guess Anton knew that the Norwegian F-16s have chutes and
included that in my model.. Which turbine will you be using?

Thanks guys. I will be powering it with a Rhino, at least at first. May try a K210 at some point. I asked for a quote from BVM, but Patty couldn't find anything about ordering the larger drag chute housing. Are the G2's coming with the wing slats?

Well, I have 5 flights on mine now,, Kingtech K-210 the maiden happened about two weeks ago, I had a great maiden and then a flameout on my second flight, luckily I was in my downind pass, and making the turn, I was able to get it back down on the runway with a good safe landing. I had a ton of other turbine guys check my setup, removed fuel line and ran into a can, NO air bubbles at all, could find no problems. I am using all 3/16 large tubing with large fittings and large clunks, with a Cat Uat, every line is tight and double safety wired, pressure checked everything before install and also in plane,all good. I called KT and he sent me a new pump,as the 210 has had pump issues, Barry has provided excellent customer service to me. I got the new pump in and took it back out on Thursday,, I ran two tanks of fuel thru it on the ground all good zero air bubbles, never missed a lick. charged all the batts back up, filled the tanks and air and up we go again. I got in two great flights, Love the plane, checked my batts all showed good, took it up the third time,, Flameout, this time about 30 feet above the runway inverted, got it back down in one piece had to belly land it on the runway due to the position I was in when it went out,, Not much damage some scrapes but about a 1.5- 2 on the damage scale. Checked the GSU, No flameout status or anything. Started talking with some other members trying to find
out what is going on, one mentioned the turbine battery,(I am using a taildragger RC 2500 Mah LIFE 9.9 pack) I stated that KT says a flight takes about 350-400mah so 3-4 flights should really leave plenty of capacity in the battery, But,, He recommended I top the turbine pack off and try again. So I did, once the battery was full I took off just the way the jet came down,, didn't fill the fuel or anything, I reduced my timer by 2 minutes and up I go. This time I was brutal on the jet, did a whole circuit inverted, positive and negative loops, short loops, figure 8s, climbing spirals, descending spirals even a stall turn up high,,, Ran like a champ never missed a lick. I landed it and seen that the flight had took the battery down by .3volts. I am now thinking the turbine pack is just not up to the task.. I have purchased a new one from KT it is a 3800 mah pack, I am hoping to have better luck, for now the plan is to fly the jet, and then top the pack off every flight to be safe, one comfortable I will try and push it to two flights and then charge, maybe 3 in time.

Nice flying I had a kingtech K170 in my F -16 and had three flame outs each flight I was so nervous to fly it. So I pulled the Kingtech out and replace it with a Jet Munt 200xbl no more flame outs plus I'm running the same setup that's saying something and I'm a lot happier to fly it and I just put the 111th flight on it last weekend.

Yes I'm very happy with 200xbl heaps of power no issues I've got about 25 flights on it now and still going strong the 200xbl have heaps of power for the F-18 I'm thinking of getting rid of my Kingtech K170 in my FB jets F-18 and getting another 200xbl. And the technology is about the best on the market if the single fuel input directly from the pump, and a 3-wire electrical connection to the ECU that carry the battery power and a bidirectional digital bus.

Would you trust it personally I wouldn't if they keep having problems I bet kingtech won't replace your frame if you can't make it back safely to land due to a flame out

I just ran some tests on my k210, and i got it to flame out a few times. Waiting for Barry to let me know where / how to send the pump. My K180s have been flawless. I have had flame outs and issues with every brand of engine there is, so its not out of the ordinary sometimes ... actually there is a brand i have NEVER had any issue with, and that is Jakadofsky, but those are for whirlibirds ... I really am looking forward to my F-16 with the K210.

Well, as an update,, I flew my F16 yesterday for 5 flights,, the last three ended in flameouts, I have already installed the new pump from barry, I do not know what is going on, this is not my first jet build,,I have it setup with top shelf components, starting with the Large CAT air trap, all 3/16 tubing from UAT to vent. I have the two saddles in parallel but each feeding their own large fitting side by side on the main tank. When I fill and empty the system, the two saddles fill and empty at the same rate, so no imbalance. Using all Heavy clunks in the tanks, with brass tubing soldered into the clunk, so it can not flip over. Stuck scratching my head. My last flameout yesterday did not end well, was in a bad spot, came in fast and low, did some damage, mostly cosmetic, but really pisses me off,, I spent 5 months building this jet, this is my first kingtech and I have had nothing but trouble. I found that if I roll the jet inverted that is a garauntee it is going to flame out instantly, but if I land, and then take off again I can fly inverted and it wont flame out, every time, just sometimes. I checked my fuel system for issues 10 times, no problems, holds pressure and vacuum. I have no friggin Idea. I removed my 210 and am boxing it up, its going back to KT this week I hope they find a problem, because I cant. Meanwhile, I am going to change over from the Large Cat UAT to the BVM high flow Uat with the sock style filter in it and the large fittings. Once I get it all back together, I will fly it again, If I have another flameout, You will see this 210 in the classifieds.

Ron, Mine has the 2 sides into a common header then into a UAT and works great for probably 100 flights now on K180. The 2 sides are 1/2 gallon each and my header is not that big but you could go with a 32oz and that would be a good setup. I think the header helps provide a good sized reservoir to help regulate any difference in flow from the 2 sides. Worth trying.

I'd be interested to hear what people's experience with that large curved main tank(I have same and don't use it). IIRC it is not baffled. I think when you get to those dimensions/aspect ratio, its a good idea to have tank baffles.

I had two of them from different manufactrer that exploded on me in full throttle at take off and probably 10 flame outs after it was replaced under warranty. There was a time that I had a damaged airframe every time I came back from flying due to flame outs, but it's been good so far with my 180g since I switched over

This is hilarious coming from someone who was supporting FEJ not too long ago. Why aren't there any FEJ planes in your sig these days? Kingtech has had an issue with the pump for the 210, not the engine. They are replacing the pumps.

that are recalling the problem !! and publicly offered to replace pumps ... better that other brands ( like JetCat) have treated their customers ... selling engines known to be bad, and then having guys wait months and sometimes years to get them to be able to actually run ... Having been through most brands ( currently have a JetCat pht3, P200, SPT10, 2x Jaka Pro 5000, JC Cheetah, JC Rhino, Simjet Nexus, 2x KT180, and a KT 210 with new ump on the way ) , i have to say KT has been A+ in my book. I applaud Barry for publicly issuing this recall on the pumps ..

I sent it off to him today,, I will say this for Barry,, I am able to call him and talk to him, and he does everything he can to help, even walking me through the gsu readings when I had some of the flameouts,,, I overnighted the turbine so we will see how this turns out...
meanwhile, I stepped back from the F16 for a day and calmed down,,
I was thinking about how great the jet flew and looked, and how my last controlled landing looked, I figured out my landing speed, then I went out to the garage to look at it again, the damage is not that bad, I can definitely fix it, Has anyone ever tried any of the factory match paint from skymaster,,, My tigermeet has 4 different colors,, light gray, dark gray, black, and the yellow/orange not too sure how to match the paint,, The cosmetic damage is just some small cracks,, I can sand and fill them, but want to try and hit the colors pretty close to keep her looking good.
