Default GlasCat help

Anyone have an instruction manual for a Glascat? I think I can get a good deal on a glascat arf but it does not have any instructions. Looks like a nice design. Has anyone built one?
Thanks,
Jetboy

since seems like under RCU moderation policies we are not allowed to disclose certain truths with any direct negative connotation , I will start things of on the right direction ... Don't worry Mr Moderator, we hear you loud and clear , and things will be kept on a positive note!

Tracey Jensens designs are some of the best in the world ( if not the entire universe) the glass cat design has been putting manufacturers such as BVM to shame for half a decade now. In fact the designs are so superior in their engineering that no flight testing is even necessary, as there is no doubt as to the performance capabilities opened to us by it. Is it built right ?? more like overbuilt ! the most advanced prepreg composite construction ever !! you will find a personal trace of Mr. Jensen in every plane !! According to the manufacturer , not only is this a great plane to fly , but will also attract celebrities like Tom Cruise and John Travolta, as well as hordes of playboy bunnies right to the flying field of your choice …

Now Mr. Moderator, please do not remove this .. all the information presented is FACTUAL .. most of it has been right here on RCU disclosed by the designer and manufacturer of the Glass Cat himself: Trace Jensen. The rest of the info has been obtained by actual owners of GlasCats and affiliated designs.

Best regards,

Voy

BY THE WAY I AM OFFENDED BY THE USE OF THE WORD PROPHYLACTIC AND MAY HAVE TO FILE A LEGAL ACTION FOR POSSIBLE SEXUAL HARRASSMENT - IF THE DUNK IS NOT PUT ON DOUBLE SECRET PROBATION!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jetboy,

That might make a great project. How about a "Team America II" version. I will sure be looking forward to seeing it at FIJR next year! I would also encourage you to include the A.S.S. system that you have developed to keep the static at an acceptable level.

Regards, Bill

j dunker, as a mod, can you explain why people should not be warned of past experiences of tracy. it is incredible that you do not allow this. by not letting out the bad press of the glasscat, you and rcu are in a round about way, are endorsing the product as legitimate. can you elaborate on your stance on this matter. thanks in advance, barry

RCU is a "say only nice things or say nothing at all" community these days .. I have noticed it is even allowable to speak of the use of Chinese prostitutes on business trips if worded properly at times ...

the moderaton here on RCU is always fair and consistent ...

It's OBVIOUS that Mr. Duncker hasn't got a clue when it comes to Tracy Jensen or the GlassCrap design!!! Mr. Dunker---Tell us why you want to protect Tracy Jensen when you SHOULD be doing EVERYTHING in your power to steer everyone away from the GlassCat!!!----

You'll need one of Wojtek's "specially" molded composite parts to have any chance of getting that lump of fiberglass to fly at all! It also helps to get the Bunnies involved. At least they can make you feel better after the coming disapointment.

But seriously, I don't believe there was ever any significant instructions or manual. Its kind of like all of Tracy's dealings: you are on your own!

Does anyone know what the all up weight, wing area and wing loading is for this model ?
I get the impression it will "come in a bit hot".

I don't remember the weight and we never measured the wing area on the one that Richard had, but it was definitely a bruiser! Cast out of depleted uranium! It was heavy metal!!!

You forgot to mention the development of a plasma drive for dimensional travel-I heard the only thing holding it up was the supplier of the unobtainium

Well Rick the above clearly has SUPER super powers as it has over ridden my merely everyday super powers and returned from the dead something I thought was well buried.

Now let me see I need the following;-

Large wooden stake

Large wooden mallet.

Garlic necklace - make that two.

Holy water - a gallon will do.

BS repellent

Air raid shelter INCOMING INCOMING.

Oddly enough I had just come in from shop after laying up a Glascat fuse(for real)-it occurred to me to search the forms to see if it was still a subject of concern-and there it was in all it's glory---with tracy selling a little snake oil. It's more like one of the living dead that was bitten by a vampire--I believe that that can't be destroyed by any means!

Default glascat variant

Here are pics of original fuse in brown--you can see the wing strake is larger for a swept wing-had to fabricate my own canopy plug
