RE: RT Hammer turbine : Anyone ?
All ECUs come programmed and matched to the engine. Not sure where the statement below originated from.
The projet ECU is probably the easiest and the most flexible ECU out threre to program and adjust.
Regards

Is the engine delivered with sufficent documentation for the end user to be able to program the ECU correctly ?
The ProJet ECU must be programmed new

RE: RT Hammer turbine : Anyone ?
I started mine yesterday afternoon and all I can say is WHAT A BEAST!!!!
I'm not an expert and I only have used a Jetcat P80 before... but I must say I like this RT 130!
Very complete package (ALL is included) and very easy to program ECU (the Projet Hornet V6).
I couldn't measure the actual thrust and I don't have a video but the power seems really awesome, and what nice flames and red hot cone !!! (it was getting dark outside!).
And now I only need to get the Hawk..!
Ciao! Mauri

RE: RT Hammer turbine : Anyone ?
I think throttle response is very good, smooth and progressive, but maybe not the best in it's class...
The ECU has a programming feature for the acceleration ramp and the decelaration ramp... each has 4 "points":
- acceleration: 2.0 sec, 1.0 sec, 0.7 sec, 0.5 sec.
- decelaration: 1.0 sec, 0.4 sec, 0.4 sec, 1.0 sec.
These are factory values and I don't think I'll touch them, the turbine is so progressive now... just a short flame in the first acceleration phase...
The idle RPM is just under 35K (in the 34.900s) and max RPM around 117K.
Temperature around 560°.
Ciao!

EICAS/RACKETE:
SEND ME AN RT80. I OFFER YOU NOT TO USE IT FOR A PARTICULAR PROJECT. RATHER, I WILL EXTENSIVELY TEST IT AND REPORT ON THIS FORUM AND SEND IT BACK IF YOU LIKE. IF YOU HAVE ANY PROPOSAL TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN, PLEASE LET ME KNOW.
MANUEL.

Could someone give me the dimensions of this turbine ?
Thx,
Pat

In the pics you can see external dimensions...
I couldn't weigh the engine because it is mounted on the test bench, but on the homepage it says 1350g (including the starter engine).
I'll confirm this when I'll take the engine off and put in the Hawk...
