Jet A vs. Kerosene?
I figured you jet guys may have an answer for me, and may have tried this.
I have some kerosene space heaters, the ones with a wick , not the blast type.
Would Jet A fuel work in these heaters?
Reason I ask, my one horse town only has kerosene at one store(TSC). Tractor supply co. is raping me by trying to charge $35 for 5 gallons. I can probably get Jet A at a local airport.
Thanks for any information.

RE: Jet A vs. Kerosene?
I would imagine Jet-A would stink to high heaven---Not to mention that the additives in Jet-A more than likely aren't very good for you either....Stick with the canned kero for your heaters or buy kero at the gas station but only buy the kero that is labeled for kerosene heater use (K-1---NOT K-2) as it has the least impurities and has very little odor.
