Anton,
Is the F-16 the same size as the SM F-16 or a little smaller like the JL, Tam, Cermark?

Hi Mark,

Same size as SM f16. There will be a smaller EDF version soon.

Morne. I understand the dragon is a few months away from being released. Maybe April or May?

Can we get the Dragon in all white?

and what is the estimated cost of the Dragon in US dollars?

Morne,

I've got the rudder and elevons hinged in the Rafale ready for gluing. I noticed that the elevons need some additional work. What did you do to fit yours? I believe I need to sand back the trailing edge of the wings to get a better fit and to achieve the 30mm up/down movement. Maybe I need to slot the hinge point on the control surfaces too. It looks like your Rafale on the CD might have this feature, but it’s hard to tell.

Also, the fuel tank stopper hardware needs a little work. The rings that the brass tubing passes through need to be larger diameter. I had to file the holes larger for them to pass through. Maybe the factory can go a little large on the hole diameter when they make them.

Can you send me a picture of your turbine install?

Regards,

Ken

I placed an order with X-Treme on January 13 and received the Pro Forma invoice January 14.
Because of the problems Anton was having with his Paypal account I did not pay until Sunday 28

DHL delivered my A-10X on Wednesday this week

That either shows that DHL can ship from China very fast or Anton had the kit packaged and ready to ship as soon as payment was received.

Maybe both actually because looking at the waybill it was picked up in China January 30 and arrived at my house in the UK January 31 [X(]

Hi Mark,

We are thinking of an all white version. No final USD amount! But there will be a "cheap L/G version" and pro L/G version in the combo deal. Price will be between USD1000 and USD2000 for combo. Know it does not help much....sorry!

Regards

Hi Ken,

Yes you need to sand trailing edge! Also use round file to slot elevons!

The tanks you received are not the same as the ones i used in prototype. Use some oil to lube pipe..

Best regards

Morne

Morne,

Thanks very much for the additional pictures. I test fitted my P-120 and the SST Pipe really can only mount right at the spot shown in your picture without having to cut the two tail pipes off at the back. I may have to cut an inch off the inlet tube because I can't get the clearance I want with the SST pipe and turbine exhaust nozzle. I won’t do any of this until I get closer to checking the CG in a few weeks.

You used two blocks of wood to mount your SST pipe. Was this to help center it with your turbine exhaust? My kit came with two blocks of wood in a zip-lock bag. Are these what there supposed to be for? No mention in the manual about them. I found that by flipping the SST pipe over that the tabs allow the pipe to center better on my turbine because the tabs are not fused to the center line of the pipe.

Anton,
I have replaced the 4 mm thick main former (for the wing) with a 6mm thick one. I feel that if all the other formers for the landing gear and such were 6mm then the main former should have been also. I have since carefully gone over the whole kit and have found only one item missing. The kit for the air has only one fill valve. Can you send the other missing one as well please.
Thanks in advance.
