Ok I need HELP. I have SM L-39, I need a new canopy, while building I had several scratchs and no big deal, but the other day i flipped it over and I cracked the clear canopy...

Help.... where can I order a new clear canopy? or if someone has one laying around they would want to sell.....

Mark.

Kingair. it's ready, just need to replace the clear part of the canopy.

Had a bad experience with the Bae Hawk when it was first released and avoided SM planes for about 5 years. In 2008, purchased their large F-4. Haven't flown the plane yet, but overall I am more than pleased with it. So yes, I would buy another Skymaster Jets.[8D]

Some pics taken here in a cold and windy day: This Skymaster F-18 was first flown in 2005 (one year before this thread was started) when people used to look with concern at it knowing it was built in Taiwan and bought in Hawaii (!). The plane still here, and flying better than ever with some extra knowledge we gathered in this years that helped to fly it consistently in bad wind conditions.. as more I fly it, more I like it.

The other one is a Skymaster Viperjet a friend of mine bought in 2010.. pretty impressive airplane very well built and engineered. However we found too a problem with the cockpit as it is too large and flimsy,so our builder mr.Patake did a good job reinforcing it with a mod that didn´t looked any bad.

So far (2010) the conclusion is that Skymaster is a excellent option for buying a jet, however as it happens with all the hobby manufacturers you should still be cautious with small issues that can
lead to a problem. So keeping a eye in the internet about the issues and exchange ideas and information with other owners/builders it a good measure for everyone, as usual.

Zombie thread lives again. I have been listening to the skymaster comments and have been impressed with the planes I have looked at first hand. But I am getting very disappointed with the service from the company. I ordered a f4 phantom a little over eight weeks ago in a very cool Marine paint scheme , but in the past couple weeks they have taken the paint scheme off of there web page and lowered there prices. But my biggest issue is my dealer has not received any news or any correspondence from skymaster. I know there can be long waits. I waited like 14 weeks for my flyeagle tomcat but at least they kept my dealer up to date with what was going on with the bird.

I'm a big fan of Skymaster planes. I have 2 right now (F-4 and Viper Jet) and just ordered a 1/6 F-16. Their quality is great and Anton has always helped me out. My only complaint is that I wish I could buy parts directly from their web site.

Hello Dubd,

If you are talking about replacement parts, it can be ordered direct from factory. E-mail the factory and Vicky will organise the parts asap.

Hello Morne,

I am a fan of Skymaster too. I have got my first Skymasterjet this year.It is a BigHawk with Red Arrows sheme.
I just wanted to order new main gear door cylinders.
I wrote two e-mails direct to Skymaster a few weeks ago but no reply !!!
So a webshop for buying spare parts would be great.

lets just say the words Skymaster and on-time just don't go together.

I really hope they improve their delivery time and their quality.

Simple enough?
