Default RE: What servos for baby boomerang

Just sold mine to a club mate and did the radio install for him. When I flew it with a Ram 500 I had JR 527 ball bearing standard servos on the ailerons, Hitec 645 on the flap, Hitec 225MGs on the rudders and a JR 8411 on the elevator. The 8411 isn't needed, it was the only standard size digital in my drawer at the time. The new owner is flying it with an air start Ram 750 that puts out 17 lbs of thrust. He's running Hitec 645s on the ailerons and flap, Hitec 225MGs on the rudders and a Hitec 5945 on the elevator. Hope this helps.

I use Volz Micro-maxx on rudder and Graupner DS5391 on the rest. I fly with Simjet 1200 18lbs.

jr 8411 on flap and elvator
8231 on aileron
3421 on rudder.
If not a JR man, then the above are all digital, 11kg then 5.5kg respectively.

again, i had to buy the 8231s but the rest was what i pulled out my stingray and used in the boomer.
Maybe overkill, but its working great so far.

HS-5245MG = rudders & nose wheel
HS-5965MG = ailerons
HS-5985MG = elevator
HS-225MG = brake
I forgot what I put on flap.

With a jetcat P80:
Ailerons = Futaba S3050s (6.5kg / MG / Digi)
Rudders = Futaba S3010s (6.5kg)
Elevator = Futaba S3305 (8.9kg / MG)
Nose Gear = JR NES591 (5.0kg)
Flap = Hitec HS 5245MG (4.9kg / MG / Digi / Mini)
Retracts = Ripmax SD200 (1.2kg / Micro)
