The RCU search feature is probably used 100 percent of the time to read these older threads in the first place. So why robotically say, "use the search" when obviously the search didn't get the right information someone was looking for? If a topic is relevant to jets, I find it hard to believe that posting on it again for more information is any more detrimental than starting a new orphan thread asking and talking about the same basic stuff all over again before the real good information can be added.
