Hello Max,

Great video, and fantastic engine sound !

Do you have any more videos ?

What kind of fuel tank, and what engine you are useing on this model ?

Is there any problem with engine temperature as the engine is installed completely in model ?

Best regards,
Kristijan

Hi Kristijan and thanks!!

The engine is an homebuilt pulsejet that have 4 Kg of thrust and is completely in the model.
For the temperature, I have covered the internal of fuselage with 0,2mm of alluminium and I have cut the inferior part of the fuselage near the tail!
The fuel tank is around 1 liter and I use the unleaded gasoline.

Currently I don't have other video of this model, but at home I have others 3 models with pulsejet: a trainer called Sagittario, a F104 Starfighter and a Aermacchi MB339!

When I will have the possibility, I will film the flights of these Jets!

Bye!

Hello,

Is it 0,2 mm alu foil enough to protect fuselage from heat ?

Do you use standard fueltank for glow type engines, or is it special construction to
avoid airbubbles ?

Is there any pictures of your engine-fueltank installation ?

Video of your pulse jet powered F-104 would be awesome ! [sm=thumbup.gif] [sm=thumbup.gif] [sm=thumbup.gif]

Hi Jetman.
No, the model is not a ZModel Kit! Is a Bettini Kit, an Italian factory that have closed two years ago!
The model of this kit is not an original jet model!
Originally the model is predisposed to use an internal combustion engine on the front of the fuselage with propeller.
But I have decide to powered the model with a pulsejet in the rear of the fuselage!
I have moved the wings 10cm to back, I have changed the pilot canopy, the front and the rear of the fuselage,......!!! (a very hard and long work!!)

Bye.

Really nice to see!

Congratulations, and a lovely landing!

Here is my effort at Pulse Jets. You should come along to our event in Scotland! Should be at least 3 Pulse Jet powered models this year, plus turbines etc etc. Machrihanish Funfly May 12th and 13th. You would be more than welcome!

Hi Steve and thanks!!!!

From Italy to Scotland there are many Kilometers......[]

Also your twin pulsejet is very good!!
Here in Italy there is a person that has a three pulsejet model, and some years ago had also made a four pulsejet model!!
Bye!
