RE: New BVM KingCat
Your Kingcat looks great. What beautiful place you have to fly. I am looking to getting my Kingcat, on it's first flight, if the weather ever gets better. It is the old version. Great pictures. What did you power it with? How much does it weigh?
Have fun with it
Alan

Hi Alan
Thanks for compliments.
Our grassfield is near lake of ZĂĽrich. My new KC weight with fuel is approx. 18 kg. Turbine Behotec JB 165 with 174 N thrust.
Wish you same pleasure as I have with mine.

RE: New BVM KingCat
Hi.
Nice, i am soon finish with mine. I have just painted it and now i am waiting for some custom decals. It will be a "jet bull". I will make a mix of red bull and Jet Cat logo- the bulls rear body will be similar to the cat in the Jetcat logo. red bulls on the top of the plane and blue bulls on the underside. And yes, i will do the nosecone yellow. Cant wait to get it airborne
Fritz, what kind of servos did you go for? i followed the list from BVM but i am used to use metal gear servo on the steering of the nose wheel and alu horns on the servo, so i have changed this to JR 8411. Mine will be powered by a Simjet Nexus and i will use the Weatronic dual receiver 1020 R Gyro/GPS. must be fun!!!

RE: New BVM KingCat
Hi to Canada & San Jose
yes this is a KingCat from the newest serie, delivery was January 07.
This Behotec JB 165 is a perfect runnig turbine with a lot (to much) of thrust, so I reduce rpm down to 115 K. During tests on the bench we registered a thrust of 174 N @ 120 K.
I'm absolute happy with this combo.
About the KingCat - no question, the best Jet I ever flew.
