RE: Skymasters 1/6 scale gear
Hi Dave
I believe they(Matrix) became a master for the skymaster . If I'm not mistaken there was a thread last year In which skymaster announced their F 16 gear, well it seems that the photos were of Matrix gear .... Seems they(skymaster) purchased a set and started to clone them. Although skymaster said that they developed them on their own. (Just like Uncle Joes group did with the TU2 (B29)down to patches on the airframe)
With all that said ,I think they will fall into the SM mounts

Guys,
We make 3 sizes of F16 gear. 1:6.8, 1:6, and 1:5.5.
We just stock the 1:6.8 size the other sizes can be special ordered.
Thanks,

RE: Skymasters 1/6 scale gear
Because of mechanical geometry are copy from full scale airplane, many scale F-16 gears are quite similar. But Skymaster one is equiped inflatible tires (much lighter) and powerful multi-disc brake( like real plane). Most important, there are oil-dampers in every three legs to absorb energy from heavy landing and bounce.

PS I have a "Bridge" forsale Found this on the thread..check out the pixs..
I will answer your quote stating that you dont think we made the gear in the Skymaster photos just because they dont look exactly alike. We make special order sizes to fit many jets. I will post some photos of extra parts that were made for a customer in JULY 2003. I know this because the nose gear was too long to fit inside the wheel well so we had to make the oleo scissors shorter and made it out of aluminum as shown in the Skymaster photos. Our standard oleo scissor are made of brass. I also had to make the main gear shorter on that order too.
I stand behind our statment that we made that gear. I have extra parts of 4 sizes of F16 gear. I will post photos of them shortly so you can make a better comparison.
As for Skymaster not knowing the origination of the prototype, I can accept this as true and thank you for your understanding.
