Hi

I have ordered one F18F that I am waiting to be delivered, and the finishing details are quite good - panel lines, already painted on the outside, door hinges already glued with cilinders installed. All you have to do is install turbine and radio gear. Even LG and fuel lines are installed

What I recomend ( I am doing it on mine) is to desassemble to check it out and the assemble again.

Regarding the MB339, I have seen one in a meeting and I can tell you the finishing is supreme. It is painted and then lacquered. Superb finishing. It was flying with a P160 with wing tanks and what a *****cat it was.... Landings are incredible slow for this giant.

wingspan - 2,4 m
lenght - 2,4 m

Can't go wrong with that one.

Hi,

They seem to be good airplanes. I saw their F-22 at CA Jets, and it looked/flew well. Also, they make the F-16, Rafale and other jets that Tamjets sells, so they're good enough for them. Chances are they'll be good enough to suit your liking, too. They're priced very well, too, for what I've seen. Good luck!

Dewey

Very smooth second flight! How much flap throw are you using and how much elevator have you mixed in if any?

Best regards

John

I'm not sure on the amount of flap travel. I adjusted the flaps almost to full travel. The control horn is the limiting factor. If I was to guess I would say maybe 30-35 degrees. Ihave zero mixing to all of the controls, I noticed very little pitch movement when I have used the flaps. Deweyd

I'm using a Jet Central Rhino. 36lb of thrust is plenty for this plane. I was flying the plane around with 1/2 throttle. The normal loops and vertical things need full power but thats about all. Everything was very easy to install, and plenty of room to to put things. On thing is that it was tail heavy so I had to put some weight in the nose.

Having just test flown my MB-339 from Fei Bao, I can only praise it.
A little heavy, yes, at 18KG. Balanced on the Spar centreline, I needed to add 750g lead & epoxy in the nose, which already comes with some lead factory mounted. I had mine done in Emirates Air force colors.
Flap 50 deg, with a mm or 2 down elevator mix. Lands beautifully. Great legs
Set up with a kero start Jetcat 160, Emcotec 2001RV, Hitec 6975 digitals.
Building tips* mount the control servos as close to the skins as possible* make slightly longer control horms out of PC board

I like the quality of their kit, the detail level for it being a ARF is just AWESOME. I like the camo color scheme of my first Rafale so much that I bought another after the fatality due to a failed hinge, I also bought their Bae Hawk as well. I had the Skymaster Hawk and it was a great looking ARF, but the Feibao Hawk it by far better in detail and mechanics. What really sets there Hawk off is all the little detail they add to it as you can see in the pictures.
