A custom "made - to - fit" 125 ounce fuel tank from Sullivan products will shortly (within weeks) be available exclusively from Boomerang Jets and Al's Hobbies. I believe Al's are also having some Kevlar tanks made.
125 ounces - I'll bet you can get close to a 15 minute flight with the Wren SuperSport!

Sorry guys, I had a new video posted here but had to pull it for a day or so due to a technical hiccup.

Here's a couple of pics from Jetpower meeting last weekend. Elan and XL flying together.

UK Elans will be available from Al's Hobbies from October 4th or thereabouts. US Elan[img][/img]s will be about a week after that from Patricia ( boomerangjetsusa@sbcglobal.net ) in Dallas.

Alan.

Hey Alan,

What turbine (or thrust rating) was used in that video?
I assume Wren Supersports ~18 lbs thrust, like you said in the earlier post.

Thanks for any info...Scott

The US container should be in Dallas by Oct. 10th, if customs clear it reasonably fast.

NEW VIDEO is now up on the website;- http://www.boomerangjets.com/euro/elan.php

Orocover and Profilm are the same product! Just the name changed for the Euro and US markets. The specification is definitely not Chinese film. It's made in Germany, I believe.

Hello Alan

I would like to order a Boomerang Elan jet to use with a Wren Supersport.
THe Elan looks better than the Baby Boomerang but is it still the same flights caractéristics ? It seems to be very very well on the video.

Regards
Jean Fi

Jean,

Custom Jet1A's for the Elan will be available soon due to popular demand...........

However, the mounting rails for the retracts will take almost any make of gear and

oleos if you have them.

For France, just contact Al's Hobbies ( jets@alshobbies.com ) to order an Elan. They will be getting the first delivery of Elans during the first week of October.

Alan.

I ordered one by mail to Ali - but, I got the "out of office" reply that he will not read mail until early October (14 days from Sep 20)

I guess his mailbox is pretty crowded....
