Last heard was that Ken from KMRC Jets was having some made. He said a couple of weeks (that was before Christmas) so they should be close.
Any word Ken? I am nearly ready for one.

I have had my 120 for 4 years and had some great times flying it, paid 147.00 for it. Yes I have spent time strengthening the airframe with carbon strips and also changed the ali wing tube to carbon. Installed a spare set of JetA1 that I had which lowers the height when sitting on the wheels

For 106.00 plus 6.00 postage that's a bargain so just brought one as a second 120, yes some people like them some people don't but my falcon did not cost what my CARF Hawk did!

Here is a video of my Falcon 120 at a impromptu jet day at TMAC club in Brisbane. anyways it was good to fly the falcon120 again because i think it had been over 6 months ago since I last flew it!

Guys, I made a mold for a cockpit tub for this plane. I was thinking of offering the option of painted and assembled or unfinished. The one shown is the first pull, it is not shown with the ejection seat, that will add a little more detail. I am going to paint them similar to my F-86 cockpits shown below, with a black dash and gray aft section. Ed Valls asked me to do this, so he will be the one to contact if you want one.

All accords what you have done with the rear, i.e. metal servo's for the tail feathers or not, but a P70 should be able to balance out with all the heavy stuff in the front, I even had a P80 in an original and was able to balance it with 8 onz in the nose.

We are discussing that now, we will see if there is any interest and go from there.

I did a test fit and they fit perfectly, so I finished a prototype, this is how the painted version will look if there are any people that want me to paint them.

I started out with a P60 and mine was very nose heavy. It needed 2lbs of lead in the booms to balance. I now have a K80F@19lbs thrust and it balances perfectly without the lead. Also, everything is installed as far back as possible.

Luke,

I'm definitely interested if the price is right. My advise is to offer them unpainted. You'll need to pay yourself for the labor and materials, and some will want to redo it anyway.

Please post price and order information when you're ready.

Mine has a P60 and balances with the RX battery on top of the main fuel tank (not shown in pic) and the Turbine battery under the equipment tray. (it would be approx under the air gauge in pic below) airtank is in the nose and rest of the equipment is as shown in pic.

Xairflyer thanks for that, now much fuel are you carrying in there?

One guy puts batts in the nose, another guy needs 2 pounds of tail weight?? Something seems off.

Matt, I had a K-100 and all the batteries are just aft of fuel tank, there's a nice pocket of space right above the bottom hatch. Take off were smooth and slowed down nicely.

hi all nose weight tail weight is going to depend on where you fit all your gear the balance point is not going to move it's 330 mm
from the leading edge of the wing next to the fuse as I said it all depends on gear placement. example move the turbine rearward
on the mount you need more weight forward

As I already said the most significant effect is what you do at the rear of the booms re the servo weights, one ounce extra on the end of the boom means about two ounce's in the nose, multiply by four servo's and you have half a pound of lead needed in the nose.
