Dear Joe Flyer.
I have a question regarding the Prolink gear system that you installed in your Falcon. Did you use the rail mount or the firewall mount retract for you NLG. Thank you in advance.

This saddle for the forward wing tube allows the tank to go all the way to the bottom of the fuselage. and this engine mount allows fro a stable platfotm for the turbine. I am going to use a Dubro 50 oz tank with another 16oz round tank on top of it. With the UAT i will have 70oz.

Hello
I suggest you use a os 1.40 rx with pump on it and then u can use a 15*10 or suitable 3 bladed propeller on it . exceeding 15 inches will be tricky on landings and takeoffs. you may find yourself always trying for 3 point landings .
you can watch my first flight on you tube . just type jitendra gurjars falcon-120 test flight

Safer to have it level on the upper surface of the tailplane then at least you have not got to hold on down after a to enthusiastic take off, that's how I had mine set and it did not need any up trim in flight, but I did have my turbine set level.

BaldEagel....
My Jet is more or less done, but it's too cold to fly. (and get my waiver) By any chance, can you post a pic of the elevator? I understand that guys are making the top surface flat, and it makes it look like it's going up... but I'd like to see how much.
Thanks

I don't have the Falcon any more, I was offered silly monies for it and it went to one of our a club members, but what I did was put a straight edge on the tailplane and moved the elevator up to the straight edge to get it level, I still have one NIB and am very tempted to get into flying condition with my JetsMunt Merlin 90 should be fun with that much power.

Can anybody tell me what they used for neutral position on the elevator. It looks to me like it would be set flat on the bottom.

Yes I am using 0 degrees on my turbine, but that has no bearing on my neutral elevator setting. If I was to fly at any speed, and kill the engine, this is where the elevator neutral would be. You should have a look at the following link to my earlier description of how I setup my turbine at 0 degrees though. It really works great for the following reasons.
- [*]Does not burn the grass at my field[*]Does not need the longer nose gear to allow rotation. Since at take off with full power on the turbine the nose is not being pushed into the runway, I have a nice smooth rotation at about 60’.[*]With the shorter nose gear, I have only a slight positive incidence and not the normal tendency to bounce on landings. I expect that the reflex also helps on this.[/list]

This is what my elevator looks like at neutral.

Thanks !! As they say... a picture is worth a 1000 words.
So, the way I see it is... "The top elevator control surface should be perpendicular to the bottom elevator fixed surface."
Now I can finish rigging my Falcon.
FYI... I also have my engine set at 0 deg, on your recommendation.
