Heres my highly modified Falcon 120se.
I have 5 flights with a P-120.
125oz total fuel with wing tanks.

Looks like a nice neat build with the carbon and all.
Mine has a Rabbit on it and is highly modified like yours. Problem is like others have noticed the Falcon will only go so fast due to the fat wing section and airframe drag. If I had a P120 SE sitting around it would be put in a Bandit/Flash or similar.
Its cool to have heaps of power anyway for short take of and tracker verticals!
Happy flying!

Hi Derrek, really nice job, great install inside as well. Your engine looks like it has more down thrust than mine, prob due to your power on tap. What weight did your beast come out at.
Do you have any video? The new project sounds interesting, will it be another Falcon?
cheers Tim

Hey everyone,
Been painting the Falcoln 120 today, the original color scheme of black and orange wasn't to my liking so I put a similar
color scheme on it to reflect a Thunderbird. Here are some photo's.

Derrick, that falcon looks unreal! I had another fly of mine of grass yesterday and finally wrecked my homemade oleo set. I bit the bullet today, and ordered a set from Dreamworx in Florida, so I hope they arrive soon as we have another jet meet here in 3 weeks. This thread seems to have a life of it's own and still remains of great interest to me.

You got pics of the canopy and bottom? I'm not looking to copy it, just want to see the entire thing as it looks great. Are the wings covered or fiberglassed?
I need to start deciding on my military scheme I guess.

Yes..the whole thing is glass and carbon......Canopy frame is carbon also. I molded it from the fuse....pretty easy to do.
I will post some pics.
Its pretty fast with the P-120. faster than my euro with a Titan SE.
The flaps deploy at 85 degrees.
Not sure about the wieght....but I did add a few pounds with all the mods I did. Whatever the wieght is it still flys good...I got it slow and no bad tendancies so far.

Very nice, you will need a pressure switch, one method would be to use another retract cylinder and when the pressure builds up it will push out the piston rod and knock off a micro switch

Anyone know where i can get a set of trailing link oleos to suit a 9.5mm trunion?
I went for spring air 100 series in the end for my falcon they drop straight into the existing mounts. Just need to start all the mods now so i can get this ship in the air..............

I had a pair of retracts that dropped straight in, trouble was they dropped rights out again with the bearers still attached, lots of work needed to beef up that area on my wings.

Get in touch with Sandor Kruise at Digitech Turbines I am sure he would be able to sort something out for you re the Oleo's.

RE: Bob Cat Copy Falcon 120 Jet
Has anyone got any pics of where they beefed up the uc mounts?
Ive just cut the film on mine and have noticed how dry the formers are. Was tempted to run PVA along the seems that are accessable but not sure if this is sufficient. Was also going to put some carbon tow around the uc mounts and onto the formers to spread the load............
Whats the deal with the wing tube, mine is short as are many, is this ok or are people replacing them? Anyone got a source in the UK where i can get one? Im guessing mine is about 1" short.
