Default Who Do You Call When You Need To Outfit Your Jet?

Since I'm a recent convert from scale aerobatics to df jets I'd like a few names of shops or individuals that have all those little parts you need for completion. In other words, after you buy your kit and you've drooled on it sufficiently, who do you call for such items like: df fuel tanks, alloy wheels without discs, fiberglass cloth and finishing resins, landing gear struts and all those other jet parts that my somewhat local hs doesn't carry. Thanks, Jim
And by the way, I'm in the middle of the U.S. if that makes a difference.

Default Accessories

For wheels and brakes try Ed at Great Northern Models. Very helpful and and Trimm wheels and brakes are excellent and priced much less than Glennis or BVM.

I go to ElectroDynamics for Miltiplex servos and all my other jet electronics. I also bought my first ROO and Robart Gear and Glennis brakes from there as well.

Sure can't debate, These are fine caring vendors. Top of the line IMHO. I have dealt with all mentioned and have no complaints! But with some of the vendors (not necessarly on this list) They have just GOT to make their website's better and up to date. I have NEVER bought from a site that only has text lists of products. I WANT to see pictures and descriptions. If they want my bucks (and I spend plenty) it's the price they have to pay. My $.02 Bkf

I second the motion for Great Northern Models! Their Trim Wheels and brakes are priced just right and Ed is more than willing to work with you when it comes to special configurations. Quality, value and genuine care for the modeler. Can't ask for more!

Default Great Northern?

Where are they -do they have a website ? I certainly agree with btf, I won't waste my time or money in some of these sites that appear to have been written back when DOS was in.
