Default AMT NL service and support

I would like to publicly praise Bennie and the boys across the pond for repairing the
Fodded out engine I recieved that was sold as " rebuilt By AMT NL and never flown" .

The engine was actually crashed in a Comp AFR Mig 15 by a "BIG name" english pilot
and builder in Delray beach Florida. (Not Dave Platte)

I knew that AMT NL would never send an engine back to any customer
with bent compressor blades and grass in the compressor section,
so when I recieved it I knew instantly I had been ripped off.

I recieved the engine back From AMT NL after the repairs in "Like new condition"
clean !!!, just like it had just come out of the box and the way I should have recieved it from "the seller".

The AMT NL boys documented the damage, took pictures for me, sent me back the bent compressor.
This may help in my efforts to get the $700 repair bill out of the "seller" who's unworthy to be in this hobby.

The engine will be now be going into a Skymaster F-5 , with the confidence it will run correctly.

If you dork the plane boys..have the gonads to pay
for the damage YOU caused yourself....... don't rip off someone else.

Again Thank you AMT NL......Bennie and the boys you.... ROCK!

Wow. This thread has survived for three hours. Guess the mods are on vacation. It's interesting how they selectively decide when it's ok to as they put it "curse, flame, degrade, insult or embarrass someone in your post". I mean it's not like 99% of the regulars here don't know who you are talking about. Personally I don't care. If I got ripped off the way you say you did, I would do the same thing. It's just annoying how the rules change depending on who's involved. JMO.

Its good to post "Our failures" as well as "our successes", so others don't get hosed the way I did.

The Mods seem to "protect the guilty" allowing others in our section of the hobby to get victimized as well.

I have filed a report with the "authorities" on the seller.
AMT NL helped with pictures, parts, and email to add to the evidence.
I can only hope they will come through.

Let me come up with famous a bad excuse.........

Hmmmm..............

I needed the extra weight...yea thats it....

It does run really smooth though it belongs in a jet with more wing area.

I'm happy with this one..... Bennie and the boys did a great job.
