Good to see your comming. My name is Jack Graham and I will be your CD for the day. It will be a low key event for Jet flyers only. The Airport will be X'd out all day. Primative Camping is available on site.
The focus of the event is on guys getting together and flying, talking jets, getting to know each other, and helping each other out. The facility is awesome, the runway is wide and long, and the airport people treat us great.

Well the Turbo-Fest weekend just got better, I just found out that the Annual Apple Fest in Franklin PA is on Sunday Oct 7th, they have the best car show around with street rods etc. on Sunday. They literally fill the town center with cars, and there is a craft show in the town square for anyone bringing their wives.
The clock tower in the center of town looks like the one from Back to the Future!
Franklin is 20 miles from the Titusville Airport

Two big events are coming up at the Titusville Airport and members of the public are encouraged to come out and have a great time.
This Saturday a JET Powered Remote Control show will be held at the airport, which is located along Route 27 west, just outside of the city.
This is the first event for the newly formed Oil Creek Flyers Club and it is called the “Oil Creek Oct-Turbo Fest Jet Fun Fly.” The airport will be closed to full scale aircraft from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the event.
According to Jack Graham, club president, there will people flying remote controlled model jet airplanes from Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, Canada and possibly Maryland and Kentucky.
Graham described the event as a “fun day of flying,” adding that spectators are encouraged to attend. He said the Oil Creek Flyers were established this year and have six local members.
Graham noted the remote controlled planes are from one-fourth to one-eight the scale of actual jet aircraft and are powered by jet fuel. “It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun,” Graham said of the hobby.

The Titusville Aero Club will have food available for sale. Free camping is also available.

Well the weather was near perfect! Great flying site and hospitality! Except for one MAJOR PITA pilot I had a great time. I suggest that low 200MPH passes "this side of the pilots centerline" be reviewed. I know I missed the pilots meeting so maybe this type of flying was covered. I dunno. Spoiled are rather fun day for me. Seemed like the locals encouraged it too?
Maybe "tighten up the ship" next time?

It was a great time with good weather, good food, a good runway and good friends. Let's do it again soon.
