Got this info from here...http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-j...maller-f5.html
The CG is: 270 mm from the leading edge at the wing root
Elevator high rates. Maximum travel 25 mm up and 25 mm down
Rudder high rate: 25 mm left and right.
Ailerons 19mm up and 19mm down
Low rates:
Elevator : 20mm up & down.
rudder : 20mm left and right
Good luck... I just bought a used one and hope to maiden it this weekend.

Dear erbroens, I saw your photos of the F18 Felipe, his gorgeous jet .. In Marilia, jets just me and a friend, I flew with my Viper in SJRP ... Now I'm with this F5, made a flight that was too tense, command was too, but it all worked .. now I will test with the new settings .. add me on face TONYJET...

Aileron. Low rates 1/2"- High rates 5/8"
Elevator Low rates 1 1/2"- High rates 1 3/4"
Rudder Low rates 1"-High rates 1 1/2
Flaps 1" for take off for landing, 1 3/4" inch with 10% down elevator mixed
Currently using 15% expo on all surfaces (JR radio)
This is for the 1/6 scale FB F-5e. Also, the F-5 has a bit of trouble rotating and will leap off the ground with the nose of the plane nearly vertical, so be prepared. I have raised the aoa of the nose of my plane by 3/4", hopefully this will improve rotation and reduce the heart rate/pucker factor. In the air, the plane flies great.

Thats great, the 14 bis club is awesome.. and D.Jackson´s advice on the flaps seems very good. the F5 likes flaps for takeoff and also positive AoA on ground for smoother takeoffs, without that dreadful jump.
I once flew the skymaster F5, and seems that this plane can land with a considerable angle of attack, without any hint of dropping a wing, at a slow speeds. It is very likely that yours is capable of doing it too, even if it is smaller.
Good luck in the next flights, I´ll see the pics on fb !
Um abraço, Enrique.

I just picked up the 60 size F-5's from Mike Lin at Global Jet Club. I need some kind of instruction manual. Trying to figure out where to mount air valves, what kind of valve for gear/ gear doors?? CG? Control throws? Help!
