    It should weigh less than 50, maybe 45 lbs so shouldn't need a J-57 to get it off the ground.

    I used to fly with a friend at Eagle (and he got me on at the Mother Empire) was an original FastFac in the F-100 and then flew weasel missions with the -105. Those guys were sure cut from different cloth...crazy is putting it lightly!

    Anyway...every time I would say "so Pete...what did you think of the -105"...he would always start the same way: "OMG...that sled...well let me tell you..."

    i'm planning on making the drive when they fly the bird. you can hitch a ride if ya want. if they don't mind i'm planning on bringing the bobkitty to toss around while they pose for pix and check the systems etc.

    should be great fun
