I guess we were referring to different version. G1 originally had problems with wing structure so G2 were made to remove that problem. Your G2 described is actually a G3 that has a single spar running across the fuselage and has many scale details. Now more people are calling it G2 so I guess that where the confusion starts. I know JL still supply the G2 wings. To avoid confusion, Jason it's better to send photos of your wings to [email protected]. Once the factory identify the wings they will take photos just I confirm that it's what you are looking for.

Mike.

Ok, sounds good Mike. So, the G1 wings and the G2 wings should be the same, correct? It sounds as the G2 wings were made to be an upgrade to fix whatever structural problem so it was made to mount up with the existing G1 fuse the way it sounds. I will get some pictures to Jose as soon as I can. Thanks.

Hey Guys....

Just to let you know, I've received my smoke tank extended range fuel tank from Eugene. The quality looks good and the fit is awesome. If you're looking for extra fuel and/or smoke on your L-39, I think these are the answer and I'm sure the price will be right.

Thanks Eugene. You're a good man...

I just picked up a second hand JL L-39, I was looking at the website and most of the pictures are gone, can someone please explain the difference between the two lights kits (since both are out of stock and the description for one set is not visible)
I can see the description for the PT-IP5-L39*5+IP6 but for the PT-IP5-L39*5, I can't really tell the difference. http://www.globaljetclub.com/AIRCRAF...Albatros-1-5_4 I am in the market for a complete Light set, a Cockpit kit and Smoke Tank.

Thanks Ralph

Ok guys I just picked my JL L39 used from a guy, so Ill have a few questions.

But Im programing my flaps and air breaks etc. So here is my Question,

In what order do you deploy your Flaps, airbrakes, and gear for landing?

What is your favorite landing technique for this big bird? My Eurosport, I use 1/2 power until I get done with the base leg turn, then pull it to idle and then flare. But the Eurosport dose not have Flaps or air brake. So how do you land your L39?

Im still reading this thread, Im going to look for some aluminum for the wing tubes tonight, any other big red flag issues?

Thanks mike

Thanks in advance for your reply

GEARS FIRST, FLAPS, AND AIR BRAKES, DOWN WIND, HALF THROTTLE,

NOSE DOWN, IF NOT, YOU'LL LOSE IT.
that's the way I bring it.

The wing tubes doesn't need anything else. They hold very good.
The wing will not bend, if that's your worry.

Thanks a lot for your replys but is there a right wing for me? Old Version means first Version with the two carbon pins and not the new one with the big tube.
