Ducted Fan Fuel
DF engines run on high compression, like the engines designed for helicopters. Because of that, the generate more power, more heat, and more stress on the parts. I like to run a lot of castor to protect the piston/cylinder. It gums it up a bit, but I'd rather clean that replace.
The WildCat 5% is a good choice--lots of lubrication there. Its cheap and makes 'em go like hell.

Ducted Fan Fuel
Vinny,I like to use Wildcat 5% for my oOS 91 & Wildcat 10% for BVM engines and K&B. Lots of oil and a good smoke trail to let you know if engine is still running.

DF FUEL
If you are runing O.S.91w/dynamax fan I highly recommend Ritches Brew 10% nitro, 22 % oil ( 11/11) 11 castor, 11 synthetic. It has been exellent in my DF,s for many years.. I is also a lot less expenseve than Wildcat & others. It is manufactured in the Houston area, & is available in alot of hobby shops.. Mike's hobbies is in Dallas, sells it for $9.50 a gallon(last time i bought it)
Great stuff, never lost a rod or piston yet!! My .02 cents worth!!

What Ducted Fan Fuel
A couple of us in the St. Louis area have been using Magnum 5% and 10% fan fuel. Works great, and is extremely clean burning. We have to order it from Denver where it is made since none of the area shops carry it. As a matter of fact, now that I think of it, ducted fan fuel of any brand is very rare in st. Louis area shops.
