An RA-5C Vigilante.... A good looking plane. I remember one scratch built few years ago. Don't remember the owner and if still making it. I think I heard a rumor the owner sold the molds.

This thread has been not active for about one month, let me give you guys some update.

1/6 F16 - She just left the factory by DHL and we should receive this week, to do the manual and test flight, the F16 has working slats, butterfly speed brakes and other features, will be released for production after intensive test.

Mig 21 - Just tested this weekend and put some 10 flights on that her, she will be ready for production in a few days, test flight report says no bugs at all and flies beautiful, but I'll post all the results in the Mig 21 specific thread.

SU27 - Scale landing gear is done It's scheduled to leave the factory in a few days, also will be tested before start production.

Mig 15 will be tested soon.

Mirage F1 - Working on a scale landing gear.

F14 - The plug is finished and they are working on the mold right now soon we have a prototype once the landing gear are not the problem.

News:

1/7 scale F15E, 109" long is almost ready the prototype is almost done, very detailed airframe.

Small F18F superhornet prototype ready.

I have more but I'll start specific threads for each one with a lot o f pictures.

Wagner I have to tell you that the 339 flew fantastic. I know have several flights and will bring it to the Columbus meets next weekend. I know we had several updates to do after I finished the plane, but it was well worth it. With my corneal problem the plane in the red and white scheme gives me good visiblility. Thanks again for all the help.

Nice landing gear Wagner, are you guys going to do it scale?
She is up on the gear! The Mirage F-1 main gear is unique, nobody has ever really done anything quite like it before, and it presented some interesting challenges that kept our engineers very busy. We made many prototypes, a lot of metal chips flew, and a lot of designs and parts ended up in the waste bin along the way, but we have finally come up with a design that satisfies out desire for both scale accuracy and operational reliability.

Note that there are more detail pieces for both the nosegear and the mains that we have not installed yet, the final product that reaches customers is going to be really something special. The airframe itself is, of course, fully composite, and it has complete surface detail, all rivets, panels, hatches, etc., we are sorry if you cannot see that much of it in the photos, it's very hard to see the details against a bare white airframe.

The airframe shown is a prototype made for testing and fitting all these systems. As we speak, a fresh one is being molded, along with another set of gear being machined, so we can start test flying very soon, now that we have settled all the design issues. When we are satisfied with the way it flies, we will make any changes needed to the tooling, and maybe add a little more detailing to the mold, and then start full production and announce a price, so please be patient, we cannot take orders or name the price until we have the test flying done. The price is going to be very reasonable, and custom paint schemes will be available for no extra charge...if you can provide the documentation, preferably in the form of a set of good plastic model decals, we can do the paint.

Oh, and by the way...the plane will be able to be seen in person at the Florida International Jet Rally on October 30th through November 2nd.
