I would like to know what you were thinking when you sold all you had to buy that perfect jet. Then you see something else that catches your eye, and you sell all you have to get that jet, and then---------- Are we men or are we shopping like (*****)

YEAH
WELL,
yeah I gave it a lot of thought about trading away a twin F-18 to get the F-16 , but when faced with the reality of gearing up a big twin on my budget, or gearing up the F-16 it was really a simple decision
eventually I will get another twin F-18 kit, when the money situation gets better, but for now, the little guy with a 1200 or mamba will be very cool, dont you think ?
regards, scott

PLANES
I know you will get that F-18 Scott. I talked to Wilcox about you on the list at # 23. And I can not imagine how long it will take to get my 160. I am getting to the point of either going with the 120
or a Olympus. I talked to Dan in Tx. and he said it would fly very well on the 120. He said with the By-Pass and all she would be very clean and fly nicely on that. Well what do you think

STEADY AS SHE GOES !
you know, thats a tough one, I think the OLY is great eng. from the limited exposher i've seen with it in joe's big bertha F-18, but I personaly still think the P-160 is worth the wait in your case , if for nothing else, it's smaller, lighter, tx. started, and local, but if you decided to go with the OLY you cant lose eather way.
one thing though ! , if you decide to go with the OLY, you will have to work something out with tam for a pipe swap, and your current bypass probably wont work eather !
last thought, your jet is allready built around a by-pass and pipe for the P-160, so changing now will require alot of re-due work, so the bottom line in my opinion, is to relax and wait for bob to get the P-160's in, as it wont be long now
regards, scott
PS, since I traded my F-18 away for the F-16, you can have my #23 spot in line, so your in good shape

I heard through the grapevine that AMT engines are going through some updating, they will be smaller, lighter, full electric start, and still based on the rock solid reliable AMT design. If you`re going to wait I`d wait alittle longer.

Hi Scott:
I just know that BVM is going to get his and all the other dealers before he will start his list. I understand that motive and thats fine. But I to have a deadline to meet. I know this would be the best engine. But even when I ordered my P-120 from Jetcat, I was on the list in july and still never got a engine all the way into December-------- So when I called about it they said they had called but that was untrue. I just need the engine. I might wait on the Olympus. Heck I might even use a Ram

DAVE DAVE DAVE
These are the ramblings of a despirate man,
first off , the 120 deal your talking about was before wilcox opened up, and yes it was a little unorganized then, but times have changed .
wilcox is a straight shooter and the 160 is going to be here soon, and who ever is on the list is going to get engines, if BV is ahead of our # 23 he will get engines before, if he's #40, then he will be after simple as that .
what is this about a dead line ?, is the jet going to shrivle up and die if it dos'nt get an engine by next week heh heh .
your going to make yourself ill with all this worrying, geez dude, relax, when it's done it will all have been worth the wait .
one of the great things about being poor is learning patience .

.. had my ear to the door...
I brought back an A-10 that Roger received from Germany, all I have to say is, just let me hit the lotto, looks worth every penny. There is alot of pre-fab work done on the plane.
Henry at H.V.N. custom models, the same guy that did bulk of the work the #2 A-37 Dragonfly will put the Warthog together as well. Whilst I hammer out a bakers dozen of Hot-Spots.
.......Sorry to interupt, soon as my own computer gets repaired, I will update my website with some pics of the Euro Hog.

Hi Ray:
Yes I want one soooo bad I can taste it. What did he pay for it.
I thought they were 3500 now I see 4000 on the Adic page. Were did you bring it back from? I will----I say, I will have one. How is the detail is it sweet?
Thanks, Dave
