Matt, I thought I was the only other person who saw Spinal Tap!! I love that movie, just cant get anyone else to watch it with me.

I'm working on it as steady as I can right now, but sure isnt going to be done by LA Jets. Billy, you are crazy building 4 of them.
I just hooked air up to the nosegear and got the button valve installed that triggers the doors.........too cool...I love swinging some iron!

Dude, what are you doing home already Presta?? After spending all that money at Tam's over the weekend you should be out on the street corner looking for some CackASADA!!!

How did you rig up the square nose gear door? Is that runnign of a cylinder or attached to the strut?

"But you dont understand, this one goes to 11!!!" It was on the other night, great movie. One of their songs is on Guitar Hero too, love to play that one.

I'm hooking up a cylinder to that door. It is so nice and easy with access right behind the bulkhead to mount the cylinder....only problem is I now have to go spend more money with Tam to buy another one. I hooked it up with the cylinder that he gave us for the main doors, but that is way too much travel, so Im going to buy the same one that we are using on the front doors. I will go see him tomorrow, but I will leave my wallet at home.

Going to Tams shop is like going to a strip club:

-He's really nice to you when he smells money
-He will follow you around and offer you more goodies until you spend every last dime
-And when you leave his shop you always have the feeling that you spent too much

Sorry bro, I dont know why I would ask you that question.........because I just hand my transmitter to Joe McBride and let him do it...........just like everyone else!

All jokes aside, thank you for the input.

My shop it always better than strip club...
Strip club only good for woody for 5 min. In Dave case 30 sec.
But come to my shop.....you going home with toys to fly with your friend and the wife approved for you to go out for over night hanging with jets buddies.
Let see if your wife approve you going to the strip join and not to mention a wallet full with cash.

Once a while and not with fat wallet coming in the joints.
Ask Dave if he still feel the pain from Superman...That is the best $25 we ever spend in the strip joint to see Dave cry on stage...

Just get the group of guy's you fly with to settle on a plane, and go buy them. It really makes no difference what kit it is, as long as everyone has the same thing and you are all able to fly together. With our Cali crew, this Hawk makes 3 different flight "party's", the others being Bommerang's and Flash's. This Hawk crew is not a "new" idea among our group, just another plane that we all got jazzed about. So if you and your buddies know of a kit that might interest you all, then bite the bullet and everyone order the same plane, and go fly together....its an absolute blast. Like I said it really makes no difference what jet it is, just as long as it is somewhat easy to build (otherwise you will have some guy's finishing their planes 6 months apart), and everyone can fly that plane at somewhat the same capability, and making it an affordable choice will always insure that some of your buddy's wont back out. If none of your buddies want to do it, then just get one of the 3 planes I listed and come fly with us....Dont worry about taking it home with you, Duky is always more then happy to store planes for people.
Good Luck,
Dave

Oh yeah, if you plan on flying as much as we do...........It should probably have a JetCat in it.

It start with great groups of guys and with good sense of humor.
Also california is very limit of field to fly turbine jets. So when we plan to go fly. We all like to meet at BW as the center location for everyone to drive 2-5 hrs.

Sounds like we're at a cathouse. "You got you're Boomerang Party- entry level, kickback.... next you got your Flash Party- a little more intense, mix in a little smoke and a T33.........and for a real wild ride you can go for the Hawk Party- it's our top of the line party complete with smoke, formation (Can I get a reach around with THAT?)

Lucky, it just kind of happened. Great bunch of guys that still enjoy the rush of flying ( formation nonetheless)

Dave,
That way it easy to leak air when the nose strut bouncing up and down in flight. We learn that from the Super Hornet set up remember.
Put the trigger valve in the angle with the strut. This solve the problem and it work everytime on the F-16, A-4 and Super Hornet.
Here is the photos of the A-4 , F-16 and Super Hornet trigger valve set up.

Thanks Dave & Tam. Nice pics.
Since there is no manual was done by Fei Bao on their products. I'll try to post as much photos from my experience to help you guys speed up the building and less hassle.
Here is the airline diagram to do gear and doors for this set up.
The diagram showing how to do gear sequencer from mechanical from the servo. But Dave method is work the same.
