Default BVM 16th F16 gear question

Im dealing with some second hand gear is there anyway to adjust the toe in or out. Also im finding out the gear work best around 70-80lbs more than that the locks on the mains wont unlock to retrac.

Vincent,

You may need new springs. The springs affect the squat, which affects the toe. Don’t over tighten the knuckle’s lock nuts. That will require more air pressure force for them to retract. BVM has upgraded ones.

And a main set:

Vin the new solenoids don’t like high air pressures. I rarely need above 72 psi to raise and lower the gear 5 times on my 1/5 hornet. I can’t imagine those lil sissy gear on a Sikteen need more than 40. Lol cheers
Happy new year.

You guys can see the right gear is way off. There is some play and i can by hand aim it a little straighter but it wont stay there. It does splay a little but does not change the toe much. There doesnt seem to to be anything bent or damaged either. Buck you are right...i can get 5-6 cycles at 70lbs and it still hasn't hit the fail safe set at 45lbs.

The toe changes with the squat on the gear. This is because the knuckles move. Place on the ground and pull forward, not push, then check toe. If you still have issues, call Robbie.
