He caught the fence on landing at Florida jets landing in a very strong crosswind. It got tore up pretty bad but all the equipment was probably fine.

Hi guys thanks for your words, the F-14 fly's really nice. Tomorrow I hope to do the wing back flight but I really do not expect much surprises.
For the CG I used a steel screw inserted where the manual says but at 15mm instead of 20mm, basically because the screw was not long enough. So I setup the CG at that point. The F-14 flew excellent like this.

Regarding throws I started with what is specified in the manuals but I feel it is too much aileron in there so I reduce them in about 35%, this gives a more realistic roll to the jet. The elevator I lowered down a bit also but maybe 20% depending on each pilot likes. Anyway start with manual settings and program a dual rate for testing.

It is very impressive how stable it is, up until now I have NOT been using any gyro por the flights and up until now I really do not feel it will be necessary, maybe for wings back or windy conditions.

I must truly say this is one of the best jets I have ever flown, Anton and the Skymaster team have done a great job on this model...

JetsRC, I don't understand the screw wasn't long enough? What do you mean. The CG bolt goes into a threaded hole, yes? Does the bolt run horizontally in the airframe?

I'm sure detail for scale can custom make you one. They do an excellent job. See Peter at Intairco he should be able to organise it all for you.

I have asked SM for a quote on a lighting kit, but don't expect they have one. If not I will have a look at details for scale, thanks justflying1
