Please remember David "Shui" this holiday...
I am sure some of you may not aware, so I will pass this on so that you can join me this Thanksgiving in remembering a prayer need we have in our small "jet" community. David "Shui" and Reza Shulman were expecting their first child, and on October 25 (?), at 23 weeks (normal term is 40 weeks), Reza delivered a baby girl, Madison Grace, weighing only 19 ounces. Madison is in Neonatal Intensive Care in Orlando, Florida and has had a few setbacks as she is progressing to a mature state where they can take her home. She has many more weeks in the NICU before they can take their baby home. What was going to be a joyous time for them, has turned into a very stressful situation. For those of you who know David, you can appreciate how this is affecting him.
David if you are out there, please know I am thinking about you and praying for your baby girl.
As we sit around this Thanksgiving with our families, please keep them in your prayers.
You can keep up with Madison's prgress at

Thanks
Tommy

My youngest daughter was a premature birth. I know the struggles Dave must be going through on a daily basis. You never know from day to day. The smallest improvments seem to be so huge.
My thoughs are with you.
FYI, my daughter has just turned 20 and on most days is an absolute charm. The teenage years were a lot of fun!
Keep your spirits up Dave...

My thoughts and prayers go out to David and his family during this difficult time.
And I'm hoping they experience their own little miracle this holiday season.
Hang in there bro.

My little bundle of joy had the cord wrapped three times around her neck as she emerged. Needed O2 fast! She is now the most wonderful 8 year old I could imagine.
David, I am sure that you will be thinking the same in 8 years. I'll be thinking about you and your family. Hang in there.

We add our good thoughts and hopes that she'll turn out to be a blessing to you and Reza.
Putting on weight now, shows she's got what it takes.

Hey Tommy, thanks for the thread.
I have received so many emails and phones calls from the jet community, the support has been overwhelming, we sincerely appreciate it. It’s been a rough few weeks, but Madison will be a month old already on November 25th. I haven’t been doing much flying, we spend our days at the hospital until Madison is ready to come home, but soon enough she’ll be with me at the flying field, sporting a new pink jet .
Please check out her website for a complete update on Madison. Her journal is updated every night. [link=http://caringbridge.org/visit/madisonshulman]caringbridge.org/visit/madisonshulman[/link] Be sure to sign her guestbook!
Have a wonderful Holiday Season! Best Wishes to all of you!
Thank you for all for your prayers for our baby girl!!

Just wanted to provide an update. After 111 days in the NICU at Winnie Palmer hospital, our baby girl Madison Grace Shulman is now home with us full time!!!
I snapped this photo of her yesterday, I think she's trying to tell me something?? Maybe she's already preparing her "thumbs" for future use???
Goodbye to my good nights of sleep, and hello diaper changing!
