Default turbine location on the 1/8 F16

Hello,

Do you have some experiment of turbine location on the 1/8 F16 (JL, skymaster...etc) : on the center, with tail pipe, or in the tail, without tail pipe?
Wheight in front? flight characteristic?

Merry christmas,

Sébastien

Hi, on the JL you can only install the engine on the center. On the SM, you may choose but it will depends which engine you have. If it's a lighter one, you can put it on the tail, if it's a havier one , better put it on center for more precisely GC alignment.

Regards.

Achilles.

hello,
it's a lighter engine of course (P60/simjet1200/JJ1200..etc) not P80/ k66 like

My question is, there is some difference in flight and on the total weight between these two solution?

Thanks,

Sébastien

Question is what F-16 do you have? The Skymaster allows for an engine on the tail, not sure about FB or JL.
I had an F-16 1/8 with a Super Bee on the tail. Perfect combination.

hello,
I have the eagle jet, same as skymaster.
i think to put a JJ1400 or simjet 1200, so a little more heavier (850 grs) that the super bee.

Do you have trying your F16 with center turbine location?

Thanks for your answer.
sébastien
