WJ2 hole is long, here, you can easily see the elongated hole that allowed me to fit the wing on and secured it with the nylon screws then I was able to secure the dowel with WJ2A from the back, I can see that the WJ2 bulkhead was not cut in your kit like the one on mine, but that easily fix, right? after all you are just the builder piece of cake for you

Yep I’ve already had to do a bunch of modifications as I went along, the laser cutting has much to be desired with this kit, haven’t been very happy with it. But none the less I’m getting there. you have been a great help also!

I have to correct myself here, the bulkhead holding the wing dowel is F6 which came on my kit with an elongated hole, that made it easer to fit the wing to the fuse, F6B has a round hole.
Thank you to LDS for adding that small detail to the bulkhead

Hey! Talking about hinges, did you know that John Reedman used monokote hinges on his DV8R, be said he never had a problem and he was flying the DV with a JetCat 120, he said he made the proper calculations and came to the conclusion that monokote hinges ( I assume one long piece per control surface ) were stronger than fiberglass hinges, I'm still scratching my head on that one

Hey! grbaker, there are two 125% Turbinators been build here in Sac by a long time scratch builder, he is converting one of them to a Banchee look alike, so far the Banchee one is almost done, he started them nearly two years ago and he cuts his kits from scratch, his shop has all the tools needed for scratch building anything

I just made a change on my signature, I just realized that ( I knew this ) I love to build from Balsa and ply, I also bought me a few days ago a Reaction 54 jet kit, it happened to be the last one of the last bach he cut ( wood of course ) that I'm planing to build this summer and I haven't giving up on my DV8R rebirth of the kit that my happen sometime this fall.

Yeah I went with the 125oz tank from Sullivan so I had to modify the hatch a little, it just so happens to fit inside the canopy perfect.
going with a Kingtech K100G, so wanted as much fuel capacity as possible.

I'm planing to fly the Turbo with a P60 first then the P60 is going to the Reaction and I will be getting a K80 for the Turbo, the 100 oz. fuel tank is enough fuel for the K80 since it burns 8.5 oz. at full trust, I should be able to get just under 12 minutes at full trust but we know the we fly between 1/2 to 3/4 so that means plenty of fuel for 10 minutes plus 3 go arounds and then some.
