Just curious guys, Looks like Nick Ziroli has updated his website and before he had hundreds of construction photo's on the Turbinator. Anyone know what happened to those photo's and if so how to possibly access them?

Thanks!

Hmmmm, I was trying to fix one or two things on my post above but all the comments got erased, not sure how, oh well.

You nailed it I dusted it off with my brush right after I took it down from the rack.

The next thing to do on the fuse is to build the vertical stab ( fun )

You nailed it again

Question, how much fuel are you carrying, I was looking at the 100oz Dubro tank, comparing the the Jet Tech size with with that one, the Dubro tank is a tad longer but I think it can be made to fit the fuel tank compartment.

Three options.

[/TABLE]
Height: 96mm (3.78")
Length: 292.1mm (11.5")
Width: 130mm (5.12")

Nelgene bottle

9.5 x 5.75 x 3.25 inches

Jet Tech

10.75" (273 mm) long x 5.0" (127 mm ) wide x 4.5" (114.3 mm ) tall.

I had a chance to take some measurements, the Dubro tank will fit just fine, minor mod on BH 8, 100 oz of fuel is enough for a 10 min flight with a K 80, I may adds a small hopper tank to trap any air from going into the main tank and then there is the UAT, naah forget the hopper tank, I will just use the UAT

Thrust: 8618 g @ 21.1° C. ( 19 lb. @ 70° F. )

Fuel consumption: 239 g / min ( 8.46 oz / min )

Since I haven't built anything from a real kit in a long time I find myself without some of the necessary tools needed for the build, a trip to HF and HD stores will get me ready for construction .

I still have to build me sanding blocks and have to get a sheetrock for the table when I build the wings and stabs.

Everyone should have a Rambo knife

It may take sometime to set up to build but it's well worth it.

Did anyone who split the wing into two pieces by chance take a picture before they sheeted it? I want to see where the tubes were installed and bracing used

thanks

The guys that build the 125% should be able to help you with that, the 100% are small enough that they can be carried in a small vehicle.

I believe Ron did the two piece wing on his 125%.

There, I posted a link.

I read through the 16 pages and what I noticed is the lack of pictures showing details of the builds, I always like to add pictures of my builds so that it may help others building answer some of the questions they may have.

The glues that I'm using, the last two F6s didn't have the holes for the 1/4 in dowels, I used F9 to mark them and traced an F6 on 3/32 balsa in case I need them if the hatch comes out short in the back.
