Default Tamjets/Yellow Aircraft EDF Stingray video

I just got this Stingray done tonight and waiting for the weather to clear for maiden flight.
Stingray do look better in EDF than turbine from my opinion. What you guys thinks?
The total weight with batteries only 10.75 lbs. Which are 5 lbs lighter than turbine with fuel.
I flew the turbine version few years back with Ram 500 it was doing easy over 200mph . I can't wait to fly the Stingray with E-power and lighter. I think she will get close to 200mph on E-power.

Tam,
Did you install hard point in the bottom of the nacelle to hold the fan unit to the airframe?
I think a DS 75 would really give this Ray some Sting!!!!!!

Incredible, that is going to make the plane fly a lot better I think!

I have had probabaly a dozen people ask me about an electric version of this plane.

Once you have this dialed in make sure you have a part number for that nacelle/turbine ready on your site ASAP.

BTW Tam have you got any big electric set up that will go where a Viojett used to go?

KC,
That is funny. Be quiet. You might wake up the black bear.

Ron,
I can pop your cherry any time....just give me a ring and I'm ready.

Ben,
My writing just got lucky. I already knew somewhere in this post is one the special Tamlish.

FFB,
The nacelle are mounted to the hard point . I glue the hard point to the bottom of the fuse.

Matt,
The Stingray EDF kit are available. Nacelle pod also available. I'll will put on the site today.

I3dm,

We don't offer the Stingray as an ARF, but it shouldn't be too hard to find a builder here.

Sean, can you do a quick check for me to advise how much should a stingray cost built \ painted, with no electronics, retracts or turbine installed ?

Hi,

I can't really say what others charge, but I can give you an example of what my partner and I would charge--about $1200 to build and paint a Stingray. You could, I'm sure, find the same job done for more or for less.
