Roger:
I installed the lights kit you sent me.
Installation is very simple and they look awesome (either on or off !!!)
If anybody needs some help with the installation, please let me know.
I am attaching a couple of pics of the hawk in my car (car loading instructions are also available ), and a landing.

Jack Diaz shows us how to handle a MIBO Hawg without dragging a trailer cross country.
It is also enlighten to verify that this kit can be brought within the 20kg European weight limit.
Dr. Brosinger really demonstrates the performance of thisMIBO A-10with a pair of rabbits.

Say brosi hows about providing us with some of the techniques that you used on the G3 plus additional you would use on a MIBO G4 to keep it under 20kg?
Thanks, Roger
Thanks, Roger

And it´s the old G3 Version. I think that the G4 could be made a bit lighter.

Hi all
My G-2 mibo A-10 is 55 lbs, 2 ozs. dry with the UAT's full of fuel. It is powered with a pair of Rabbits with kero start.
It has all the pylons BBC cockpit, pilot and opening canopy, with G -4 details added.
I am using the titanium pipes and have added weight to the nose to keep the CG at 160.
Had ten flight flown by Pablo at Super Jets South 2010, no problems with all aerobatic manuverse.

Thanks Chuck for the update....that is the second recent MIBO G2 at or under the US 55 weight limit.
That along with brosi's G3 under the European 20kglimit.
A interesting note on borsi's turbine installation without any exhaust tubes....just mounted the turbine to the rear of the nacelles with some up thrust.
MIBOhas just announced another HOLIDAY SPECIALfor the G4 go-fly kit: jetadic.com/

Think this will be my next purchase, but not a fan with overpowering/adding weight to jets what would be the smallest pair it would still fly well with.

I just had a chance to look over the new retracts that will be included with new orders for the Mibo A-10.
The retrtact housing and the air cylinder is one piece and very solid. The nose gear has a servo mount attached to the trunion.
( A nice upgrade for the A-10)

Guys,
Be aware that there are some minor problems at the mo with this gear. With the air cylinder point backwards now the rear down can't open as it pivots and hits the cylinder! []
I have spoken to Bog about this and he and his engineer are looking at it. I believe they have a solution which I am awaiting!
Cheers,
Mark

60 hours of machining each apparently. Wayne (P38J) can probably help you more if you fancy dropping $5k on them

For anyone fitting the new gear, this is how you will now need to hinge the rear door to stop it fouling on the air cylinder.
You'll also need to adjust the position of the tabs for the door link connectors.
Cheers,
Mark

OK, I retro-hinged mine briefly tonight and chose to do a couple of things slightly differently form the pics sent by Mibo. Basically, I wanted to maintain the removable door idea. So, I made some small fiberglass tabs and drilled a hole for the piano wire 'hinge' level with the door skin, glued in some sleeve for the wire to rotate in and then made a small hole in the side of the pod to allow the piano wire to be slid out and the door removed.
I don't believe the rear wooden former is even needed now.
Cheers,
Mark
PS The first pic shows the original idea that does not allow for door removal

About the Dummies Turbofan. I read a few month ago that he used the dummies turbo fan sold by Mibojets and reenginered them with an axe and ball bearings. Bogo wrote me last week that the new set of them are more resistant to cope with this use.
See the post n°197 of Roger shippley , page 8 of this thread.
Here is a link to the very impressive test run of this : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PTS-vt9nEIg
In fact I'm looking for the way to reduce rotation speed of the turbofan. Anyone has an idea ?
Stan

Clever modification and smart of you to have a way to remove the big door. Hopefully you can get to the hinge wire with the door closed. I mention that because on one occasion during construction, my gear got stuck in the retracted position (air line came off) and the only way I could get the door open was to slip a hacksaw blade inside and cut the two door attach rods.
