Default JetJoe 1400 Airframes

I'm curious to see how many airframes are compatible with this size engine. IF YOU OWN a JJ1400, please post your info and pics here! Should be cool to see what everyone is doing.

NO FLAMING, Please.

Thanks guys,

Chris

I have 2 JJ1400, one on a Falcon120, and one on a RedArrows Hawk, havn't flown the Hawk yet but the Falcon flies great. Cermark f-16 would also be a good match

Hi Matty,

Can you post pics of your install in the Hawk and Falcon?

Here is a pic my Friend, Larry Lewis, and his JJ1400 powered Falcon 120. I have a JJ1400 and Falcon 120 on the way, so no pics of mine yet.

I converted a Nitromodels Keecat 65 to take a JJ-1400. It's a really good combination and flies really well.

Cheers

That's cool. I thought about this one. Do you have any video? How did you mount the turbine?

Model Engines in Oz (also distribute JLT - Jet Joe engines) have released a Grumman Panther designed for DF or that size turbines.

Whoops, sorry, I don't own a Jet Joe - ignore my post! - John.

Alan Cardash's Baby Boomerang is the standard for this type of jet flying...fantasticly forgiving...looks pretty cool too.

Sorry, no video. I mounted the turbine on home made aluminium mounts, made out of bent 3mm sheet. They look similar to the supplied plastic mount, but are longer. I had to drill a 33mm hole in the firewall for the starter motor to just peak inside the fuselage to get the C of G right.

Indeed!

Another one suitable for the JJ1400. Looks like it's basically a Baby boomerang copy. They call it the "Formost 150".

I am still waiting for a thrust tube and jettronic valve for the brakes from jetpower-usa.com I ordered 2 months ago.
